Sideshow is giving away free stuff... :gah:

Re: sideshow gift cards are garbage

I agree that these gift cards are somewhat useless unless you get one for $50 or more. That being said, it's free and it certainly doesn't cost you anything so nothing really lost or gained. I would love to see REAL purchasable gift cards implemented as well. My family, friends, and wife all know that I am REALLY into sideshow now. It would be perfect if they could get me giftcards. Esp cuz my wife is not into just giving me cash so I end up getting something else cool but not quite as useful. Oh well...

Re: sideshow gift cards are garbage

I didnt know it's free only. I was given one as a gift by a friend. Thought he paid money for it...like any other gift card you buy. They should just call it a coupon then.

LOL some people can never get enough. We have a saying here for this kind of people: "You lend them a hand and they go for your arm."

Re: sideshow gift cards are garbage

So you are going to complain about them giving you gift card? If you don't want it, I'm sure someone else would appreciate it because unlike you, there are many people who would like many of the pieces they have eligible for gift cards.

Sideshow also gives reward parts for all your purchases - those you can use on pre-orders and anything else. I'd say they give a lot...look at Spooktacular and their Fan appreciation week - now tell me how many other companies out there give out thousands and thousands of dollars worth of merchandise to their fans?

Re: sideshow gift cards are garbage

What the ****, the only thing you can order with the gift cards are a bunch of junk noone wants. They wont let you use the giftcard to order anything even remotely good, and no pre-orders.

This company continues to amaze me with their shady business practices - manipulation of soldout status to create false urgency, refuse to disclose edition sizes even with deposit requirement, secret international editions after popular figures soldout, and now this.

Who does this stuff...

Let me guess...you're a Spawn.com member? :lol
