Omg..bright lights...cancel :lol
SS have admitted the whole purpose of the video was to let customers see someone 'interact' with the product.
Why would they purposely over exposed the film to make it look bland?

This is their way of saying 'look it's light as a feather, even though we claimed it was nearly 16Kg, and the paint will be so bland people will question if it's raw clay'.

The video looked overly bright to me. You guys just need to wait for some in hand pics. But honestly, the paint was always a little flat on this piece. There just was never much to it.

Hope you guys end up being happy with your purchase.

16kg alright,probably the base weights 12kg.:lol

I like the box.

Agreed, one of the cooler pieces of box art I've seen out of Sideshow in a long time.

The pieces doesn't look much different from the prototype, I think it looks great, but unfortunately, I had hoped I might be in a place I could try and order one when it came out but I can't. My only hope is either a contest or if this is still in stock when I can arrange funds, which, based on overall reaction, it very well could be. It's got flaws sure, and it may be overpriced but it had a great attitude in the pose and it's a rare case of a Godzilla statue having a dynamic pose but not feeling too dynamic for the film it representes.

Godzilla looks to dusky. The rubble and his skin are damn near the same color. I just couldn't live with it for what it costs. I look forward to in hand pics though.

The eyes and mouth look good. And the paint app on the top of the head looks solid. Overall, I think the drop in detail is at least noticeable. Considering it's just weathering, something I wouldn't think is super difficult to replicate, I am feeling somewhat unsure. Someone far more familiar with SSC would have to determine whether or not this is normal/acceptable/ok/bad, though.

Also, I am not sure what kind of photo enhancements were performed on the proto shots. Here are the production shots with HDR filters.

Looking forward to mine. The face close-up looks really good, IMO. It looks even better in lower light.
