Buttmunch... what are ya doin'? Go watch the movie already... jeez. No good spending $180 on the figures, who knows you might hate the film.

I'm waiting for it to come in. I was going to watch it Friday, but it wasn't available anywhere. Plus I've been busy watching a bunch of Sundance films (ironic huh?). Hopefully I'll be able to see it by next Friday.

I think Wal Mart has it for $7.50 in their cheap DVD selection. So if you like it, at least you don't have to spend a lot on the movie.

I think you might be right there Denger... although I imagine the tailoring will be better which was one area I think the Palisades came up short in.

Don't get me wrong, the Sideshow figures will be better, I just don't think better enough for me to warrant buying them. For example the Star Wars hasbros are a lot worse then Sideshows, so it was fine for me to re buy figures I have in Hasbro form.

Well, I will say this. Even though I'm not crazy about the Madsen sculpt, it's way better than the Pallisades version.

Does anyone else know where I can get good shots of the finished Pallisades figures?

I'd buy the Sideshow figures if they were about half this price. Otherwise I just can't justify it. It's not like it's my favorite film of all time or anything, and I also don't see what there is about these figures that justifies a $60 price tag.

Why was this page stuck in the middle of the second page?

Anyway, I've started watching Reservoir Dogs. I'm about to start Orange's flashback. So I've seen the infamous ear cutting scene, which I think has been overhyped. I was expecting more from that scene, like actually seeing it get cut off. But that is only a minor nit. I've REALLY like it so far though. The only thing I don't care for is the language. I know all of the gangster/crime movies have that bad of language, but I'm just not a fan of using the F word in every sentence because they can't think of real verbs, nouns, pronouns, or adverbs. I knew going in there was close to 300 F-bombs, but I still don't care for it.

So far I am glad I've got the first three dogs on order. I hope we at the very least get Mr. Pink now.

Mr. Orange's exclusive should have been the white shirt :lol There is a line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail that sums up Orange to me so far: "What are you going to do? Bleed on me?" :lol

I'm tempted to pick up some extra white shirts now and bloody them up. Probably more for Orange (like nearly all red) and some smearing for Mr. White.

I'll probably pick up Palisade's Marvin Nash since he only goes for about $10 nowadays so Blonde can be posed with him and Orange and White together from the opening at the warehouse.

BTW, I love Mr. Pink's idea about tipping :lol So true.

OK, I finished the film. Overall, I really liked it. Not enough to buy the DVD, but enough that I will buy the figures. After seeing it, we REALLY need a Mr. Pink. A Brown and Blue would be cool to finish the set, but they were hardly in it so I can understand if they don't get made.

The DVD had deleted scenes, and what do you know? More graphic ear cutting! :clap But it was just as I feared, a bit cheesey. I think the one they actually used in the film works better, although cutting back and forth between the two cut graphic ones could have worked too.

To be honest, this really wasn't that violent. The blood makes it seem worse than it is. The most violent part isn't even shown (ear cutting). Just in most PG-13 movies you don't see all of the blood like this one.

I'd say Sideshow did pick a great starting line up with Blonde, White, and Orange although I would have switched Orange with Pink. But since these are the three that had the flashbacks, I guess they are the main ones. Also Mr. White's exclusive is pretty unimportant even for an exclusive. A smeared bloody shirt to go with Orange's would have been better. I also hope they give him a second gun.

Any ideas on an exclusive for Pink? The Satchel is a must for the standard figure, especially if Steve won't let Pink come with a gun. He didn't get shot either so a bloody shirt wouldn't work. He is too popular to be a site exclusive, although I could see Brown and Blue being done as site exclusives.

If anyone has the Palisades' figures and would be willing to part with some of the accessories, let me know.

I'm looking for Mr. Blonde's Gas can, Duct tape, and Soda Cup. Also Want a complete Marvin Nash (could deal without regular "pre-blonde" head).

Please don't think that I'm singling you out, since I've seen other people say similar things about other movies, but I find it fascinating that people can spend large amounts of money on collectibles for movies that they don't even like well enough to buy the DVD.

lol, will spend $180 on figures but not 9.99 on the dvd :lol

Figures look decent, a bit overpriced with the few accessories they come with.

I know where you're coming from, but I wasn't that into Matrix Reloaded, but the Medi Neo is probably in my top 20 figures.
And the more you get into the actual collecting for collectings sake, the more you just fall for the detail and love that the manufacturers are pouring into these things. I don't need to be 100% into a licence if the figures are a work of art.
I'm sorry to say these RD figures aren't doing it for me, wish they were. White actually looks pretty good, but if they do Pink I'll try and pick him up as my RD representative for the line.

I'd like to see collection pictures of the Palisades figures, from those who have them. I wanted to get them when they came out, the prototypes looked great, but the few that I saw weren't worth it to me at the time.

I'm going to order Mr. White soon, and may get Mr. Orange when he ships to see how the final product looks. I like the way he turned out, but I don't need him like I need Harvey Keitel/Mr. White.

I want to see Mr.Pink, Mr. Brown in series 2. I can only think of Joe, Nice Guy Eddie, and Marvin Nash as other possible figures, Joe being the one I'd like the most. I hope they all get made, though.

Look at my post before this I posted pictures of mine...

I just ordered all three... I don't even know why, I may cancel, but at least as of now I have them secured if I really want them.

I did the same, Denger4000. I'll probably keep Mr. Blonde but I'm not sure about the others. It will depend on what comes in at that time and if I can afford them all.
