And they height appears to be different on the figures which is important.

I went ahead and ordered Mr. Blonde since he's my favorite character. I may have to display him with his shades on 'cause I don't care to much for the sculpt. I'll just have to wait 'til I have him in hand to decide.

I also agree that these figures are a bit overpriced but I still ordered it anyways.

And Alter Ego has the regular editions for $54 each. I might go that way for Mr. White and Mr. Orange. Blonde has the only cool exclusive.

Harvey Keitel looks great, the way the eyes are painted though, makes him look flat? The paint and quality on these look kinda poor for Sideshow, like they're letting go of their style.

I wouldn't worry too much about the paint right now... production is where it really matters.

I agree with you Batty about the White and Orange exclusives... they really aren't the best out there. But if you planned a diorama of the warehouse, then Orange's becomes a bit better.

I loved this movie,I wanted them to be GREAT!
Mr White looks OK, Mr Orange has quite a bit of Roth in there but the expresion is a little questionable.

I was shocked to see them $60 a pop. It's prety much all the same figure right, except for the head. Also, I remember when the Palisades 6 inch figures came out it said on the package that at the actor's request Pink didn't come with a gun. I'm somewhat curious to see if Sideshow Pink has one...assuming Sideshow makes Pink.

Interesting. NECA's Mr. Pink doesn't have a gun either. Couldn't find out if Mr. White had two guns though. I bet Sideshow makes him, he won the poll for favorite Reservoir Dog I think. I bet they make Mr. Brown two. Not sure about Mr. Blue since NECA didn't make one. But two "sets" of three makes sense to me.

Mr. White is in the low quantity alert now too. I bet he and Blonde sell out soon. I think Orange can't be far behind though.

The NECA Mr. Pink had a gun so maybe Buscemi finally came to his senses.

Edit: it actually looks like the single-carded NECA Buscemi still doesn't have the gun but NECA "cheated" by giving them all guns in the box set (which I have).

Mezco also got around this by including an extra gun with their exclusive Mr. Brown.

I believe NECA said the box set included two exclusives: a gascan and "extra" gun.

I think the real question is: are we going to see his teeth on the figure?

also let me say, despite what most people here will say, these aren't THAT much better then the Palisades figures, and I have those so I think I may pass after all.

I think you might be right there Denger... although I imagine the tailoring will be better which was one area I think the Palisades came up short in.

Well I just gone done looking at my 2ndQ orders and without these added in I am up to just about $1000, not including shipping, which will send it well over a $1000. So if everything scheduled to ship 2ndQ ships on time, these will most likely get the ax.

I love the movie and have long wanted to have a kick ass 1/6 RD set, but there are other figures from other licenses I want more. Not to mention I am not feeling the $60 price tags.

Oh well. Just wait and see how things are financially when these start to ship.

Yeah, whats the deal with everything hitting Q2 this year?!? Its pretty ridiculous. For some reason it seems like the lead time from Pre-order to shipping is getting a bit tighter. I figured these would be Q3 at the earlies.

My guess is that they get bumped back, as will quite a few other items. It seems like EVERY pre-order on the site now is a Q2. We know they like to flood us with new products, but if EVERYTHING listed as Q2 shipped in Q2 it would be like Noah's flood.

Its sad that I really want these figures, but haven't even seen the movie yet. I just hope I have the dough for everything this year. I probably will at least keep Blonde on order since his exclusive is the best. Orange's can at least be made by picking up an extra shirt.
