How much do you guys think the regular versions will be priced at? I think they all look decent but don't see the $59 value, even if they are exclusives. If I could pick up all three one day (locally) for like $130 its a done deal.

I'm sure they will be the same price.

I was worried I would be tempted to get these but after seeing them.. nope. Not even tempted in the least littlest bit.

I just hope toyanxiety gets them so i can buy the suits for my Beatles custom.

Besides that, these figs should have been 44.99 or 49.99 tops.

Yeah, I have to agree... If they were about $40 I would have maybe gotten them. Now it looks as though I will be just parts gathering to get some suits.

That i can agree with, which is what lead to me to cancel my SotD figures. To much money for not enough figure. Though I love this movie 10 times more than SotD and have LONG wanted to have a kick ass 1/6 Reservoir Dogs collection.

It will be a last minute choice to keep or cancel these.

I ordered them just in case. Probably will keep the one with the severed ear at least (I'm a "severed accessory" lover). I plan on renting the movie tomorrow to see what all the fuss is about.

But yeah, the suits will be a nice source for customs.

I think the Madsen is the best of them all - I'm not sure what people are talking about with bad paint. Looks just like the guy.

I liked the movie so I ordered them all, but I don't see us getting the cop and Joe like Palisades released.

I think this is a wonderful Tim Roth:

I was thinking that Harvey Keitel looks a little young, but then I remembered that this movie is now 16 years old.

They do look like great sculpts, I think the paint seems a little thickly applied... like maybe a rush job. My guess is this could be a line were the production looks better.

$60 seems to be the new base price on 1/6 figures, and these are pretty basic if you think about it. Still cheaper than the $80 for HT ( M65 Rambo is the cheapest I can remember recently), but getting closer.

I ordered all three but they may get the axe when the time comes. I'm not real high on how they look with their sunglasses off (they look great wth them on though). If there's no improvement on the paint, there's no way I'm paying $60 a piece.

If it turns out that they are worth it, I hope things atleast go far enough to get a Mr. Pink. It would be kind of retarded to have these three but not him. The rest I can live without.

Now let's get on with the Kill Bill license. I want an O-ren Ishii something wicked. :monkey5

I'm a big fan of RD, but it's not the type of movie I would buy collectibles of. On top of that, I think we're seeing the usual SST heavy handed paint apps and incredibly crappy looking tailoring of clothes. Adding insult to injury, the Buck body is really making these look even worse IMHO. The figures look nowhere near natural.
Easy pass for me.

Would it be low class to point out that many of you *****in' about the price tag on these figures were the same ones who mocked anyone who didn't like the 69.99 dollar price tag on Farmboy Luke? Yeah, probably so. Ok, I won't mention it ...

Value is relative, I don't mind paying $60 or $160 for a figure... but it needs to be worth that amount. Right now I'm not sure if these are or not... but I'll keep the order for now and see what happens.

Well, from what I've seen in these pix, the only thing better about these is the body. The Palisades' sculpts appear to be as good or better than those prototypes, had decent accessories, good suits and...a lower price point.

I was shocked to see them $60 a pop. It's prety much all the same figure right, except for the head. Also, I remember when the Palisades 6 inch figures came out it said on the package that at the actor's request Pink didn't come with a gun. I'm somewhat curious to see if Sideshow Pink has one...assuming Sideshow makes Pink.

They look ok with there shades on put i think i'll give them a miss.

Wonder how many will be released, similar to the shaun of the dead 1000 each?
