Finally got around to removing the zipper from the Bespin jacket. Was a little scared to do so, but it came right off pretty easily...

How exactly did you accomplish that? Still trying to see where to start.

Yeah if any have popped up anywhere yet, they must have been snapped up pretty quick, because I haven't seen them.

I am loving these Hoth releases! I've planned on updating my old SS Bespin Han and Luke since the announcement but I had no idea how great they would turn out!

It's like two free figures!

Is that the SS Bespin Han with the extra Hoth head? Nothing else new or different?

I looked at my old SS figures and it seems the head and neck are one piece on the old ones so you guys are buying HT bodies and making these that way?

I believe it's only the SS Bespin pants and belt/holster. The jacket and shirt are from the new Hoth Han (Yes! It comes with that under the coat!) and the boots look like those DiD jobies.

HT body or HT knock-off body, plus the new ex Hoth head.

Han is on a knock-off narrow shoulder True Type. His pants, belt, blaster and gun belt are Sideshow. His head, jacket and shirt are from the new SS Hoth Han. The boots are from Virtual Toys.

Luke is on a Pro 1.0 with HT hands. Suit, gun belt, blaster and lightsaber are SS. Head is from Hoth Luke. Boots from HT.

Here's my newly improved Bespin Han:

I did pretty much what everyone's been doing. I used a knock-off HT narrow shoulders body with the new Hoth Han head, jacket and shirt, and the SS Bespin from the waist down. I couldn't get the feet to fit into the old SS Bespin boots so I took the feet off and he just has the ankle pins there. I wasn't liking how tight and slim the waist was for the pants, so they are unbuttoned in the back and I made a new hole for the holster belt, and if you look closely you'll see the black belt doesn't reach and isn't threaded. I considered getting a Hoth holster, remaking the black belt and maybe even getting some new boots, but I'm not sure if I want to sink that much time and money into him. I'm hoping HT eventually gets around to doing the figure! For now, I'm happy with it since it's a billion years better than the original Sideshow version!

I just cut behind the teeth of the zipper with a small, sharp pair of scissors in one long strip. Once you cut the teeth off, the rest just kind of comes off.

Mine is actually on a Hoth Luke body (Pro 1.2?) that I ordered from TA.

yeah im working on my han bespin. I used the head from the enterbay han. I then shaved the hair off of the enterbay han to where it can fit the hair from the hoth han.i will take some photo`s tomorrow to see how it turned out

I got my Hoth Han yesterday. Overall I am very happy with it but he does seem a bit short. Has anyone done any mods to make him a bit taller yet? Suggestions?

My fix was a really simple one. Since the foot pegs are actually quite long, I just added a couple little spacers at the bottom created from some hollow plastic tubing I had around (although even a large straw might work), so the legs wouldn't slide down quite as far.

And it still seems to be a tight enough fit for any posing you might want to do.
