In times like this, I would say quality over quantity. Tis a shame cause everything Sideshow produces is quality.

My ONLY fear with this other than the normal Iron Man curse from SSC where the paint is scratched and flawed is that because SSC's Comiquette line is in varying scales that due to the size of this they'll go 1:5 instead of 1:4. I remember a while back a quote was posted that said SSC clearly stated all Iron Man pieces will be 1:4 scale but not sure if that still holds water.

I sure hope that 1/4 scale iron man pieces statement still holds. For something to be called a hulkbuster, I'm hoping for this piece to be at least as big as the PF hulk. Anyone know which comic is a good read with the hulkbuster in action?

Depends on the version, there are different versions of the Hulkbuster.

I guess the most recent one because I can't stand old drawings. Civil war was the only comics I ever read, after that I tried reading old comics from back in the days and my eyes just couldn't handle it. I love watchmen to death but reading it was really hard to do.

Well, then you want to check out World War Hulk because that was the last appearance of the Hulkbuster but it won't look like the version that SSC is making. It looks like this:

"B" characters!?...First lady of x-men universe Emma Frost!?...

While Emma is a serious hottie, Jean, Storm, and Rogue have all the history with the X-MEN. They would be the female "A" listers of the x-universe. Emma Frost has awhile to go before I would put here in that catagory. I do own the AH! EX comiquette of Emma so I can tell you that I do like her character.

Iron Man #304 for this particular incarnation of the Hulkbuster.

Ah, I have heard so much about World War Hulk, I will definitely check that out and the comic for this incarnation of the hulkbuster. I don't like purchasing statues and having nothing to say about it when someone comes over and asks me about it. Thanks guys!

That would be incorrect. Iron Man #304 is the modular version of the suit (Hulkbuster Mark 1). From the look of the preview it looks like this will be the argonaut version which would be the Hulkbuster II Argonaut Drone Iron Man Vol IV, 12 (Nov, 2006)

Having been educated I happily bow to the Master:bow:bow

Ironman=Overdone..

Its like a song you once liked but now you can't stand because it's overplayed..

I'm sure it will be another paint fiasco.. I'm happy w/ my SIM and thats enough IM in my collection..

Is this information memorized, or do you look it up? Wouldn't surprise me if you mind was a storehouse of IM knowledge.

The information I have memorized now but I did look it up back when Bowen came out with their first Hulkbuster bust a while back.

Impressive nonetheless.

Everyone has factoids memorized, but with comics (though the medium is more mainstream than it once was) it's still more niche, thus more rare.

Keep it up!

So will this be a similar size to the Hulk PF even though it's a comiquette, anyone?

It actually should be slightly bigger than Hulk actually. The Hulkbuster suits that were add ons to the standard were to be in scale with the Hulk, the Argonaut drone was actually bigger, so it should be in between the sizes of Hulk and Abomination.
