I put in an exclusive preorder but may go with the regular down
the road - the exclusive is not that great and the edition size is
going to be big. This PF looks to be good, but not great.
And the Emperor 1/6 news wins over the Luke PF anticlimax in this
week's newsletter.

Perhaps the Edition size isn't as large as we think. This pre-order has started at an odd time for many people, and the die hards are the ones who are right in front of the computer when it went up. I'm thinking the Exclusive will be less than 1000. With the way recent Exclusive Editions have been sized recently and with a regular edition, SS would be just asking for extra stock if they made the exclusive edition any larger. I'm guessing around 750 or so.

Nah. In addition to this having a buttload of hype, this is Jedi Luke, with a great likeness to boot. He should've been gone by now, odd listing time or not.

I wasn't completely sold on the likeness, but the better pics has me anticipating its release.:chew

Too bad the Jedi Luke figure didn't look that good.

I think this one turned out pretty nice. the sculpt seems solid and the outfits looks good. I really do not like the pose though. It looks like he is sneaking around. I fear that this will not display well with other PF's. It will look like he is trying to sneak off my shelf. I was hoping for more of a badass pose, maybe along the lines of..

Was at a holiday party this evening and remembered when I got home that this was up. Ran to the 'puter thinking "Wait List" and was shocked to see the EX still available. Order placed!

I also dislike the pose. If he was as pictured above, i would've pulled the trigger

I actually ordered the exclusive from Sideshow and a regular for a retailer. I want to display both and the fact that the vest is removable made me want both.

I was equally surprised. Doing some last minute X-mas shopping and was surprised to see the Ex still available when I got home.

There's still two weeks until Christmas. I'll show you some real last minute shopping on the 24th.

Not sure if it was mentioned but a unlit saber to hang from his belt would be nice. If you display the gun that would make sense.

Not the pose I would have picked, but it doesn't suck, especially if they do a ROTJ Vader companion piece later. Really wanted there to be an optional un-gloved right hand with saber and a blaster wound so I could pose him with Slave Leia like they are on the Skiff deck together.

Got an order in for the exclusive (thanks Batty). Great looking piece overall... but as others have said the pose is a bit meh. Not really digging that it looks like he's creeping around.

But, still an awesome looking PF
