Yeah dude he held up good lol. I must have really gotten lucky with his joints based in everyone's complaints. No issues at a windu beach while throwing **** at him and exploding fireworks lol.

It's the desert thing. Rey, Luke, Mando, Boba - thought about just picking up the Boba cloak parted out for Mando later, but decided it would look stupid. Kitbashing/costuming/re-costuming is hard work. Everything has to work together.

Think Sideshow did a heck of a job with this fig, body problems or not and I might justify on grounds that series will prob. sneak Boba in, sooner or later.

I am pleased to report SUCCESS with my idea to use a generic stand. Here's the exact one I bought, and I did buy multiples. I think I have one left, might just buy more.

This stand is nice and *tight* and it holds him to a T. No sliding around or falling out of pose. Highly recommended.

I do have mine in an almost-museum pose for the moment but oh well. I like this fig enough to still keep him, if that's all he ever does.

Bruh. You went to a collector's forum - for any kind of collectible - and thought you were not going to be blindsided? Tsk. That's just silly thinking, man.

Meanwhile, I'm going to have to move things around because HT Loki appears seriously peeved and wants Fett off his shelf YESTERDAY. [I will have to post a pic] resisting the urge to put the "Wounded Warrior" sticker on his nameplate, as he may be post-sarlacc, who knows. [These stands each come with a sheet of stickers, most of them in [I think] Chinese.] If wounded, he is still plenty dangerous. Love this figure so much! My first Fett.... but wont be my last.

LOL - TRUTH. So far I've held out on Boba tho (barely) 'coz there's a real fear of what HT - still so quiet on the Mandalorian fig front - is planning. No way they won't jump on the gravy train $$$$. Also - Jawas. Tho with my luck HT will re-release upgrades for those as well.

Thanx for posting link for stands - always in market for smaller stands; usually only use HT stands for really heavy figs. Or don't use at all, if I can avoid it vs a diorama stand. Quick test of ur idea of using Hasbro Rey centerpiece for Boba/Mando/Kylo, even. Just threw Bucky up there:





Yeah, it's do-able IMO. Think yanking the top off and making a dune/rocks etc. works better; top on is heck of angle. It'd work for Boba/Mando/Kylo with some futzing. I think drillable too if u don't hit battery compartment. I'm thinking mask off "lava", coat with adhesive, add sand/rocks, seal. Maybe. I don't usually deal with light-ups re potential problems but a light-up for Boba/Kylo/Mando might be kinda cool.

Sticking with the one I've got (and sticking him with the occasional bit of extra support when needed). I don't want to incur the added expense of shipping him back on top of the risk that the replacement could be worse. I'll risk him outside later this year,,,but for now, the studio will do.

Rubbing alcohol...? Tried very gently and sparingly at first, and tried on an inconspicuous part of the helmet first? I don't know if those are decals or paint. Paint's going to be a lot harder to remove.
