I do not hate this statue at all...As I don't mind the bulky cross between muscular Miller/Lee/ & armor style suite of the Video Games batman this seems to portray...in fact those are the batmans of my choice...and the ones I have the most connections to...the real problem is as mentioned. It does not fit with the WW and Supes which was sort of the whole point for me.

I would totally grab this batman to put on the console where my Xbox resides however P1 Arkham claims that area...Next to my gaming PC already reserved for Geralt...so this batman is a pass. Plenty of other Batman's to fit choose from and more to come...so Ok to wait.

There is a chance I may cancel Super Man as I am all in on the HUSH line and just leave Wonder Woman as a stand alone.

Definitely correct on that point not matching the look of new WW and Supes. How did I miss that? But, so very true.

Trying to match the JLA or trinity I understand, but as a stand alone it's works for me. I think Superman looks great, if I had more space with nothing on order I'd consider that too.

I would imagine the shoulder pads are black to tie in with the thigh plates. And the texture of the pants is really brought up on to the back of the piece, tying it altogether, noting as so many have said the two halves don't match.

Was debating using just the one batarang just as pictured. Such a better approach than the two. SSC threw 2 in there for the $600 price tag, IMO.

Without the cape hiding everything, this sculpt does look better. I can see now how the lower half matches the upper half.

I think the paint app is also an issue now that I see these unpainted pics. With the cape hiding most of the upper body, the legs should've been painted the same as the chest.

Good way to show off all the detailing. Despite the adverse reaction I think this is still a great looking sculpt and PF overall. People have this idea in their heads of what they want or what should be, and if anything different comes along they don't know what to make of it and just pan it...

Cap looked good but the costume updates were not for me, new DD doesn't look all that bad but I have the fist classic PF which I still like.

I mean I understand it’s counter productive to just overly rail on something without any kind of constructive criticism, but people are allowed to not like things.

Despite not liking the artistic design decisions made on this PF (and Cap), it doesn’t mean I don’t respect the talent that goes in to creating them.

Nowhere did I say that people could not state their opinion, which is what I did in my post.... Every criticism in this thread is pretty much in every thread. This just happens to be Batman. So the hate is that much more, with the same posts on different forums by the same people saying the same thing. With all the choices available out there, this is the one I choose.

Little more steroid, he will be as thick as Bane. His arms are thicker than I thought. In my opinion, this statue may work as a stand alone piece, but it doesn't work as a part of a collection.

Yeah seeing the sculpt unpainted makes it look even worse
