Sideshow or medicom stormtroopers

Which is best sideshows stormtroopers or medicom?
I have the medicom troopers which I think are great but the side show ones seem to be cheaper. Does any one know what the differences are?

Since SS has yet to ship theirs, you can't judge them against Medicom.

Medi look good. You can't go wrong with either.

They haven't even been released yet, no 10-15 day notices. Zero chance of this one arriving before Christmas.

drn it sorry I should have put Marmit on the poll. I always thought the Marmit looked a little bulky, but to be honest I don't have one so its difficult to comment.

They have actually been pushed to Q1 '09, so January or February

All I can judge on the SSC one is based from the Clone Obi-Wan. I am pretty happy all in all with the look of the armor. I am not liking the feet much.

The medicoms I have are too small though compared to many of the other SSC figures like Luke.

Unless I can get them at steep discount, I won't buy another medicom stormtrooper. I am counting on SSC to be good enough.

Ah its such a pain when the push the release date back. The Price of the ss is so much better than the medicom, I also find the medicom feet a little small and some time the bodies just seem a little too weedy!

I cannot wait for the Sand Trooper variant. That figure is gonna kick butt!!! I find the Sideshow superior to the Medicom from the pics I have seen. The fabric belt, the helmet...It is gonna be a great day when it arrives.

Sandtroopers were in ANH, on Tatooine, who had the colored shoulder pads and the especially long rifles.

Call me for being bias. Since the day I set eyes on the Medicom Stormtroopers and drooled, I have been patiently waiting for Sideshow to release theirs.

I will wait to vote until the Sideshow Stormtroopers get to me and I can make a comparison.

I will say at this point, I have the Medicom Stormtroopers, Sandtroopers, and Shadow Stormtroopers. And based on the information that can be assumed by looking at those, Obi-Clone and the Sideshow Stormtroopers' pictures and video, that Sideshow will win hands-down in most areas. Cost, sculpt, material, durability, articulation. The only general area that I can see Medicom winning in is how snug the armor fits on the figure. Medicom has a nicer-looking body suit, but it is so thick and stiff that it really detracts from the articulation. I can not understand why movie-accuracy is more important than good articulation to some on such an inconsequential detail. My own favorite body suit for the troopers is the thin spandex one that Hasbro used. So Hasbro even wins one point in my opinion.

I agree, the Hasbro suit is very good and I like the velco shoulder plates.
