In my opinion i think the new position of his hand is better. Before he had his hand just sticking out for no reason, it looks random... and its just kinda chillin out there but now he looks like hes gunna use it to attack something which gives it more meaning. Im a fan even if everyone else isn't. Can't wait to pick this peice up

See to me, the prototype position suggested that it's pose was for balance as he aimed with his spear for attack, and his free hand was ready for strike if necessary, the new one, like I said before, suggests that he's going to swing that arm in attack and the spear is now a defense if his swing misses or isn't enough.

i get what ur saying but hes not really holding the spear in a position to throw it in the first place... or if he is, it would be an akward way to throw it.

You're right, it's not a pose to throw. The prototype gave me the sense that he was purched and posing himself to stab someone with the spear, not throw it, but stab. It's just weird how a simple arm reposition, and really onlt the forearm, can change the look of what he's doing. I'd really like to know if this was a deliberate change or a significant production mishap.

Hey...someone from Sideshow!

Since this is your board...how about you come on here and explain this?

Or are you too busy rolling around in my ^^^^ing cash and laughing your asses off?

It's still awesome dio, and hey - at least they didn't sculpt his hand on his hip like he's saying, "Uh-huh, you go GURL!"

Now someone, FETCH ME PICS OF THE EX. HEAD!

Ya, it's not like an "oh man what a ^^^^ up" kinda thing, it's more like, "why'd you do that one?" :lol

I'd offer to help with pics, but I think everyone in here will have it before me :lol

Honestly, it looks like when the hand was positioned downward it should have had the disc in it...

...now that the hand is repositioned, it'll probably save everyone the trouble of sifting through a hundred youtube videos asking "gee, how comez there ish no disc in my Preddatarz hand!?!"

The only reason I even remotely liked the first position better was because you saw the blades easier.

honestly, his hand has shifted about 45 degrees... its really not that big a deal...
no need to freak out!! :joy

Is there a joint/seam at the forearm where it might have been attached to the body in the wrong position at the factory?

I would lean towards another factory screw up.

...
Maybe the right hand is moveable?...
Someone who got this in-hand, check it.

My guess is the whole production run is like this, we'll now for sure, but I'd imagine that the foam packagine would have to have a different shape/size hole for the alternate pose.

Just got mine! Can't open it till Iget home from work though. I'll check the hand position then.

Surely that can be re-positioned, it a great looking piece but that hand throws it a little, like he's hailing a cab.
