Cinemaquette for me. I like the detail of the face so I don't mind not having the option of putting the mask on.

It absolutely dwarfs the sideshow piece.

The cinemaquette didn't cost me much more than the sideshow piece was going for. This is a stellar piece.

As far as the edition size goes, the cinemaquette was in the 500's. That's what they said when I called them. Also, there are no numbers above 500 on the official registry on an un-named site. That's not proof positive, but it does make sense.

Winner: Both. I think that it is impossible to say which is better here, and it really comes down to personal preference. I may like the SS more, but I can totally see why someone would prefer the CM. To state that one is better than the other is being slightly arrogant in my opinion. If you own either of these statues (or both,) be thankful that you own one of the best representations of quite possibly the best movie villian ever.

Well said, F1 :clap

I'm looking forward to your pics later on

Thank you sir. I probably wont have additional pics until the weekend. Two observations...this piece is bigger than I was expecting and I cant even fathom how big the CM is...it must be absolutely enormous.

Hi there,
now i don't own either of these awesome pieces, but my vote is for the SS pred marquette. Reasons: the CM pred face is inaccurate and not having an option for a mask and of course the skinny spine are all negatives. The SS pred is more accurate and has the mask option. But having said this the SS pred is missing the leather arm bands where the CM has them(a positive for the CM), also I think both poses are average.

The CM is too static it's just like 'hi I'm a predator and how are you?' The SS pred pose could be better, the right arm(the one with the blades) should be pointed forward more (like he's going to stick someone/something). Not right back like he's scared to use his blades.(" I just cleaned these blades and I don't want to ge tthem dirty") that's how it looks anyway.

Anyway just my own personal observations, both have positives and negatives.

cheers

The CM looks like the (1987) Predator's cousin. It's too inaccurate to be considered the Best of the Best. Wang did a great job, just wish he gave us "THE" Predator, not "HIS" Predator.

EX Maquette is the statue to buy. When I see it, it's mine !

SS, CM.... the LIFE SIZE IS DADDY

It amazes me how many people have voted for the CM. I think if everyone had both pieces in front of them, they may change their vote.

Hey,its none of my business because I chose the Predator 1:1 bust over both, but If I had to choose, the Maquette seems nicer to me.

I love my SS EX Predator Maquette, but I would be more than happy to add the incredibly awesome Cinemaquette Predator to my collection as well.

They both rock my world.
