O M G :thud:

Avengers Team Cap/IM unframed and framed up at the same time. :clap

$180 for the two, eh? I may just bite.

HI,

I just received the Alex Ross's Liberty and Justice print; they sent me the framed one, but that's not what I ordered. They charged me the unframed price + $ 30 shipping to Canada. The frame felt CHEAP, and its cost more to ship, right ? I will contact SS to see whats going on

Keep it and get it re-framed. :lol :monkey3

I got charged $33.82 shipping for my WW framed print and I live IN California. I would just say how awesome SS is with packing material. They placed your print in a frame to prevent damage while being shipped to you. :hi5:

Agreed.

I just received my JL Liberty & Justice litho as well. I didn't want to risk waiting for the unframed and losing out on it. I'll probably try and get it reglazed at some point. The print itself is great.

Re: Sideshow Announcing new Premium Art Prints collection

The cost to matte Jason Palmer's massive 24x40 40th Anniversary Star Wars Celebration print was over $800 with full museum glass, double matting, and wood framing. But since it was the best representation of the Saga I've ever seen (IMO) I figured I might never have to purchase another print ever again and went ahead and did it.

Re: Sideshow Announcing new Premium Art Prints collection

As if their prints aren't overpriced to begin with, they feel the need to bilk people even further with this framing scam they've concocted. What a racket

Ive missed quite a few prints because of that "mandatory" only frame option crap. Oh well

Really?!?! I paid $200 for the same thing although I went with conservation glass.

Re: Sideshow Announcing new Premium Art Prints collection

This maybe a good thing. At $90-125, I might get more than I have wall space for. At $250-450, I'd have to ask myself do I want it that much? Do i really want to just throw away $150+ just so I don't have to hope less than 200ish people buy the framed version? There's already going to be 7 figures for JL, 4 of those I will definitely be getting. Then there's Infinity War...

I definitely want the JL members but will wait likely wait for the unframed.

This. :lecture

I've been asking myself that for a lot of collectibles lately.

Originally I PO'd the framed "In a Galaxy, Far, Far away" by AH! because I really wanted it in my collection. I din't like the price but bit the bullet.

When I realized that I could get the unframed version I immediately cancelled the framed and PO'd the unframed. I'm much happier with my choice especially since Sideshow refunded me my NRD.

I am doing the same. I was lucky the Wonder Woman by Olivia converted ... and although it was super expensive I had to have this in my collection. I was a sad panda when I missed out on hoping it would be available unframed, but having a second chance with a conversion had to mean it was meant to be :panic:

With the mandatory frame option I to may end up missing out on a lot of prints. It's both a blessing and curse ... but my wallet believes the blessing is a good thing :lol

I do hope that I get lucky and snag the 2nd WW print unframed though
