I am still waiting for my replacement body...Sideshow told me on the 10th that they would contact me with 2-3 business days and I haven't heard anything new. :(

Horrible customer service. You should reach out to then and if they deserve an ear full you should give it to them.
 
I got my replacement body yesterday, it looks really good and healthy :) and no neck gap. My psylocke is back in business :)

No I don't buddy. But the last thing I would want is to buy a statue and be worried its gonna crack. Just my feeling. With all the great pieces incoming you can find another statue to drop your coin on. Unless of course you love this statue
 
:woo :woo Got the noticed that I am getting the replacement body & base for Psylocke. I was so worry that I wouldn't get any (especially the base) because I called in 1 month after (base last month). Hope it's a good one :pray:

Unfortunately, I think I am done with Sideshow which is unfortunate considering how long I have been a fan. The Ironman maquette, then Rogue, and now this. I just cannot support a company that clearly does not care about quality control. I am going to sleep on it, because I really like the Hulk maquette and want to finish the X-Men lineup, but there comes a time when customers have to speak with their wallet. I genuinely do not trust Sideshow to make quality products anymore. Sideshow is not going to change their ways until they "feel" it financially; with the influx of new customers from the DC line, I just don't see anything improving. :(
 
First of all let me say thats sucks man. I feel for you. I agree with you on the QC. But other than that they're taking care of you in full regarding reimbursement. So really hopefully when you wake up you'll agree it's a zero risk to you other than their QC issues and you being disappointed. At least they provide a full refund and pay all shipping costs. :lecture While their QC is in the dump right now their customer service seems to be fully acceptable.

Damn, that really sucks Jason :( SSC should had made good with your defective piece.

You guys had me nervous with those emails about not having any more replacements. Fortunately, I just got an email saying 7-10 days for my body replacement!!! I feel for you guys that can't get one and I'm not quite out of the woods since my replacement body could be defective in which case I will have to make a tough decision. I really don't want to settle for a defective psylocke but i also dont want to lose her from my collection. i may just keep it and if the cracks get worse, have a pro custom fix the paint. but yea, it sux that some of you guys have to make that decision without even getting a shot at a replacement. i hope to god my replacement is flawless. on a side note, i noticed that the left arm holding the katana is close to broken as the blade is really loose and seems like its going to fall off. this is the same arm i had them replace when i first received her. im just gonna crazy glue it but the problems just never end with this piece.
 
sorry to hear you guys all having so much problems. I really think the factory that makes marvel pieces for sideshow is one of the worst.

I look at all the other lines - lotr, star wars, random video game statues etc.. they have some minor issues but mostly turn out good. But for marvel comic, it's just **** after ****. rogue, ultron, psylocke(luckily mine was good) etc.. i cant remember when was the last time they released a problem free marvel comic statue.

Good luck on colossus, luckily it's just mono silver...
 
I just noticed the cracks on my base, can sideshow do anything about that or have they completely run out of a replacements?

you can give it a try. i would guess bases would be easier to replace then the actual bodies so they may have more of those. it is really late in the game though so don't get ur hopes. still, can't hurt to try.

I go the same email when I asked for another replacement body because of the neck gap. This sucks!
