Should I even get one now? Take the risk of SS not being able to replace it later on?

I don't have this figure and I'm thinking about getting it.

It's the only way to own it. Sorry. :thud: I must have a psylocke so I'm just going to have to take this at full price and suck in the damage later on. Thanks SS for cutting down costs and screwing us on the quality of these. So SS if I find a crack on my psylocke one or 3 years from now due to the primer not used issue can I return or exchange it?

man, I just checked mine and cracking is on there, it was perfect when I got it. I would never have known because I don't have this piece on display yet. I contacted SS about it, hopefully they can help.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you guys keep other collectors notified of things like this!

just went and check it and is all good :clap no damage hope it stay that way. SSC did not tell me to send back the old body? i have that display it used to be one tiny crack now it big and more than one. The base still good hope it stay that way

If it's the new prime body then your good. :clap otherwise like me and alot of others just wait a year or two. I promise I will post on this thread again in a few years time. :(

Glad I read this thread before buying my psylocke! She's a real beauty but I live all the way in the Philippines and it would be a hassle (not to mention time-consuming!) to ship it back to SS if I find any cracks down the road.
You guys think the in-stock versions (from the SS website) of Psylocke have those cracking problems as well?

I would think the current versions are the original or the "early" replacements, which apparently still have the cracking problem. Your best bet may be to call or email SS and ask. I'm still waiting for my replacement, so I think the second wave of replacements has just started (supposed to be late July, I think).

The cracks can take months to show up, so purchasing from someone on Ebay is going to be a gamble. Sorry.

Well I avoided this problem for quite awhile but after taking a closer look at my Psylocke today, I noticed a very small crack on her thigh. It's very small and minor but these can get worse? It looks like I'll be contacting Sideshow on Monday. So for all those that had to get a replacement, did you send the defective one back or have to destroy it?

Yes, and they get worse very quickly. The paint cracks on my Psylocke's legs grew literally within a week and more cracks showed up.

Super glad i got my psylocke replacement today. Go bumed out when i just received an email saying i have 5 days to destroy it,was hoping to convert one to force psylocke. Sucks :(. Still glad i got, nothing wrong with the replacement.

My replacement is good as well, hopefully it won't crack later on, and when I look back to my old one, it appear more cracks.

im still waiting for my replacement. for those of you who have received ur replacement bodies, how does the paint look and feel? im wondering if they did it differently to possible prevent future cracking.

Looks not much different from my view, I am still afraid it will crack again.
