As have I, but I am pretty sure they are going by the order date and not the shipping date.

I am "missing" a few points I thought I would have as a result of that. Sadly, the :maul bust I ordered at SDCC didn't count -- that would have been 500 points alone. :monkey5

Points are not 'available' for use until 40 days after the date the order is SHIPPED. The date you placed your pre-order only affects the 'pending' points.

Therefore, 'bonus' AVAILABLE points were awarded for items that were put on order/pre-order AND shipped between May 1st and September 30th. 'Bonus' PENDING points are for items placed on order/pre-order since May 1st, but will be shipping later than September 30th.

This is an ONLINE loyalty program only. Purchases placed in person at a convention or over the phone cannot be applied, as the systems are separate.

Happy Thanksgiving Dusty, to you and everyone else at SSC and thanks for instituting this rewards program. :D

Yep, that all sounds fine for me... I don't have any complaints but I am sure there will be a lot of people that are upset that they don't get "enough" in return.

That depends on what you call 'enough'. I agree, 'something' is better than 'nothing', but as an EU collector, I pay much more for ordering an item directly from Sideshow then a US collector. O.k., I agree, those extra dollars won't go Sideshow, they go to shipping and taxes. Bottom line is, it costs me more to order directly form Sideshow. Sadly enough that cash is not turned into loyalty points. But, hey, you can't always get what you want! Who knows, maybe my country rewards me with a medal one day, for 'giving' so much money to taxes.
Anyway, the rewards program now is fact. Thank you Sideshow. You should have done this much much earlier!

Thanks Dusty, that is what I figured (whether or not that was clear in my post. ). I completely understand regarding the SDCC purchase, I read that in the FAQ.

This certainly is a great benefit, kudos for getting it up and running. Now wasn't there something about a Yetti being found?! :lol

Ok, this is just the proof I needed to affirm why I am finally cutting some lines and selling some stuff...

available points: 2244
pending points: 5890 :monkey4

WHAT!? Oh man, SS must love you. I'd love to see your "display".

Crud, I don't have anything available!!! I bought a few things during Spooktacular, but I assume since they were on sale that it doesn't count. And the last thing I ordered before that was SDCC Anakin, but since that was a pick up I also don't get points? And I ordere VCD Stormie and Vader, so since those were ordered before May, veen though they were paid for and shipped after May, they also don't count? Looks like I get nothing until like Maul comes in. Well whatever, not like I can complain about any free rewards, even if I need to wait to use them.

Not to add insult to injury but Medicom, Hot Toys, etc don't count.

What is kind of scary is that I have already made a first round of cancellations of some things and I still have have that much pending... :monkey2

After looking things over I only have one minor gripe. I ordered an art print using a giftcard and then added a second art print to the order and as a result I don't get any points for the entire order because I used a gift card. Granted they didn't have to give me any points for past orders, but that one stings, because I unknowingly cost myself alot of points by not ordering something separately.

Don't feel bad Lonnie. My account looks very similar to yours and I barely have anything on display.

Like Dusty said, its best to use them in one fell swoop because you don't get any points once you use even 1 point on an item. So divide your points by 20, and use whatever amount is needed to purchase an item.

available points: 245
pending points: 818

Very cool!!!! I cant wait to get them built up!!

YOU ROCK SIDESHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I think I'll save mine for 12" Vader since I know he will be a lot more than $60.

To bad for phone users...Better do ALL your purchases online!!!

Q: Why can't I earn points from phone orders?

A: The Sideshow Rewards program is a complicated tracking and awards system that requires specialized software that is integrated with our online store. We cannot possible provide accurate support manually for orders placed via phone, mail and/ or fax.
