Hey guys got my EX waitlist converted and he arrived today. :yess:

Firstly I really like the look of this statue, I think the pose and overall size of him is impressive. I have some good sized statues Like Hulk PF and Skaar and even Hulk CQ and he fits in really well with these.

I am a little disappointed that the head seems darker then the body on the join but on display it does not stand out and will be forgotten.

On the subject of display this guy has so many good angles I spent a fair bit of time getting him on the shelf the way I wanted which is I think a cool thing if you like to change up your display every now and then.

Now as for the issue of Weight. I paid $122 to have him shipped from SS to Aus which was $40 more then Hawkeye. According to the website Rino is 3kgs heavier but in the hand it feels the other way around.

Skaar cost me the same to ship.

The weight does not concern me as far as a statue having to have heft but I am annoyed that the hollow statue is the price it is. I understand that this is art to be looked at but when you pick up a Hulk PF to clean or move you sure as hell feel like you got what you paid for.

I also find the material for Rino feels fiberglass like to the touch and resonates like that when you tap him, again only an issue because you have paid for a Polystone statue and unless he is your first buy you are used to a certain "feel" when you unbox one of these bad boys

Overall I think this is an awesome statue if you like Big statues or the character and I certainly am not regretting the purchase but again its the perception of value, which is tactile and that is where this lets me down.

Just my 2c

The material they used for rhino is they same as the material they use for there life size busts. P.S its very had to break or damage.

Check very well probably you got someone else's return.

I received my WL conversion. It's number 456 and it has cracks. I've emailed SS and asked for a return. I'm sure this was someone else's return.

Yeah, after seeing one too many obvious returns masquerading as WL conversions, I cancelled the my Hawkeye EX WL conversion and applied the NRD to a Reg instead, then flex and forget. Would have liked the print, but not at the expense of a damaged statue. Tougher call on risking it for a key feature like a changeout head though like Rhino has...
:monkey2
I am now fairly convinced if your WL doesnt convert right around the time of initial shipping your all but guaranteed a return, and most likely one that was never even opened and re-inspected after getting it back.

If they are going to sell you a used and dinged model, it should be advertised as such and offered at a discount. Bet this method works for them most of the time though.

maybe sideshow loves me and hates all of you? :dunno

lol, could be.

I think some of us have a harder time than others though. Might just be "bad luck" or that sort of thing. I know mine hasn't been good...it's always a bad paint job, or a great paint job but something arrived broken. Or "she who shall not be named" and it's just a multitude of issues.

I'm sure I've said it many times but the statues I had to back collect from the aftermarket turned out great for me. It's what I get directly from SS (the newer stuff) most of the time it's an issue.

Mine came with a letter saying that it was opened for inspection at SS. They obviously think the cracks are OK. I have seen three of these and all of them had cracks. I bet that most people who think there's is prefect just didn't notice them.

We're being lied to? The truth is out there.

This is an absolutely beautiful statue. I think I'd only want to display it with the EX head though. Congrats to all who got it. I can't wait to actually see one in person.
