Did skaar or any statue ever sell out before they announce the edition size?

Yup it sold out in less then 9 hours without an ES announced. I remember a lot of people including myself wouldn't think it would sell out this quickly. Some thought it would take months to sell out. This caught a lot of people off guard. Panic irrupted next

I am pretty sure the ES of Skaar EX was announced when the first time it was up for pre-order.

Rhino is a secondary character and many people dont even know or have read his comics but it's the same with Skaar, is a very cool figure and some collectors simply buy it for that reason,"its cool and i think i like too much because others do"

Love this piece. A great pick up for Spidey fans, and if you have the original Spidey PF and/or Commiquette, with the Green Goblin, this piece will make those fantastic pieces now super fantastic.

Hoping SS does a great job on the paint!

And you are certifiably INSANE if you think the proportions of the sculpt on the right look better than those on the left. It's a quick photoshop edit to show you how silly the head and neck look on the prototype. And I don't want to hear the words "artistic interpretation" or "haters gonna hate" bull____. Those are standard internet forum circle-jerk cop-outs. The Rhino is a stout, compact-built character who charges and runs into stuff. That tiny head wouldn't make it through drywall let alone a brick wall.

The sad thing is...if Sideshow previewed the one on the left you'd all be just as excited than you are now and still dropping bank on this piece.

Now give Buzzybean some love and start the campaign!

why are you getting your panties all in a bunch over the modern head? You know you'd display the calssic head which is larger and better proportioned, so why stir the ____?

Yeah people should not worry at the point they will just raise the edition size to accommodate everyone and most people will end up converting.

The only time ur at risk of not converting is if they have a set edition size from the start.

TBD edition size means the sky is the limit till they set it.

Ordered and NRD charged. This will be my first Marvel statue. My previous Marvel figures were all 1/6.

I like Rhino's design and simply must buy this even at $400 and despite the fact that I don't currently collect Marvel statues. All my PF and 1/4 statues collection were mainly from the LOTR and Star Wars lines plus the Alien and Predator licenses.

I'm not rich yet so Rhino might be my sacrifice .

Nothing to be ashamed of bro. This can be an expensive hobby. I've had to make some sacrifices over the past two years as well.

When I started with Sideshow I think I was paying $250 for PFs. Now it's $400 for this. If it goes to $500 within two years, I'll just say uncle.

I first saw Rhino in the mid-70s and thought he was a badass. No way I was going to pass this bad boy up.

I totally understand that, I preordered this because I really like it. I also have several on my list like Sups, Bats and the two droids I plan on getting. That said, I haven't really seen the final products on those projects yet and because you never know how they are gonna turn out I sucked it up a bought this one just in case I end up not liking any of the other future favs this year. I can always part with Rhino if need be.
