Wow, what a downer.
Im excited for this one, but i agree the sweater makes him look a lil too bulky.
I am a bit dissapointed that he doesn't come with the falchion.
I know these pics are early but it seems there are no patches for snake eyes. Does this bug any of you guys too?
Agreed, underwhelming. I wonder if the $200 is meant to reflect this as being a 2-pack rather than Snake Eyes coming with Timber as an accessory?
Either way $200 is at least $25 too high for the set.
$200 plus shipping is definitely too high
but I don't have Snake Eyes and it beats paying much more for the inferior 1st version...
hopefully this price is not the trend for These going forward.Sideshow is not Hot Toys to be charging Higher prices regardless of petroleum costs going up
I dont know. This is not as good as I thought it would be.
Sideshow drops the ball. Or did they? I feel mixed.
I think that's going to be dependent upon who you ask.
Yeah, the goggle head looks too small in those pix, the visor sculpt seems to be better proportioned.
I painted the heads for Snake Eyes and the heads are exactly the same size. I think the goggles being so narrow on the face is visually pulling the proportion inward, making that head look smaller, whereas the visor extends beyond the width of the head, making it look larger all around. It's the goggles.
But we already know what you think which is why nobody's asking you.
The "inferior" version was less than half the price and easily fixed with a body swap, switching the visor to a Trooper head and a $10 plastic wolf.
This is going to be absolutely horrid with CA tax and shipping (likely closer to $250).
At $199 a pop, Sideshow couldn't find SE some 1:6 goggles?
And that doesn't even address the wolf.

Thanks SilentSurfer, nice paint job on the goggles btw, the effect looks really good. Can you confirm, are the heads as grey as they look in the pix?
