Would you pay $50 for a Hasbro-ey Pokemon-ey Wolf? :lol

I think if Timber looked better (ie a solid sculpt, 2 heads or just one) with everything else that $175 isn't too far out of line in comparison with the next most expensive release of Zartan.

But, as it is the price is way to high and honestly just not that good. I honestly have no interest in this one whatsoever based on how the proto looks.

Yeah, The inital preview profile shot looked enticing at first but i have mixed feeling about this one after seeing the rest of the pics.

  • Yeah the jacket does make him look bulky.
  • The goggle mask looks rather small on the body, i assume that its an optical illusion due to the color contrast between the dark uniform and the color of the head sculpt?
  • The gloves are rehash from another figure (I assume beachead)
  • The visor mask makes the neck look longer in some of the photos
Yeah Im on the fence on this one, like so many others I missed out on the 1st and was looking forward to this, now im not too sure.

I sincerly hope that they will make the necessary improvements to the figure.[:goodpost:/QUOTE]:exactly:

Yeah, I would have been happy with a non-poseable Timber with or without swap out heads, the exclusive should have been the Falchion with a scabbard. No need at all for the generic katana and rifle.

It looks kinda funny......Timber's face isn't mean enough for all the teeth showing( like the statue). The leather mask I don't like it that much too (Blue oyster bar) looking....lol.....The goggles are to small....lastly in the pics with the accessories he has tons of weapons but when fully dressed he looks too plain. I like my first version better.....still may buy on but its up in the air

I like it. I might just get rid of the sweater and get a tight compression shirt. I prefer the visor over the goggles. Might be able to make two figures out of this.

I skipped the first one in hopes of a Commando Snakes. All I can say right now it that I am disappointed. I reall wanted Snakes and Stormy to be the only 12 inch Joes that I will collect. Now I have to decide wheither I want this one or not. Perhaps it would look better on a slimmer body, but at this price range I really shouldn't have to wonder.

I guess the solution could be switching bodies...again. Ninja Snakes Pro 1.1 covered up on the sweater, and Commando Snakes new body with muscular arms on the black body suit.

That was 50% serious, 50 % facetious.

Just took a look at the preview shots and I have to agree with most everyone. Kinda disappointing for $200. The shoulders look oddly narrow and his neck too long. He seems very awkwardly posed and uptight, like they can't get a natural pose out of the figure. That sweater is way too bulky. And those new muscle arms look like they are going to be just as bad as the HT muscle arms in that they restrict poseability. There was no real need for the muscle arms with SE since he's pretty covered up.

Ugh and poor Timber. Although I think this proves why an articulated Dewback would have been a terrible idea.

I passed on the original SE and I was kinda considering getting the new one when SS confirmed they were working on an update. But based on these pictures? No thanks.

I'm going to have to resist looking at the SE statue's much better head sculpt if I'm going to pull the trigger on this.

Overall I like what I'm seeing, the head looks a little small due to the two tops being worn. I'd rather the head looked a little small than a little too big anyway.
I hope they amend Timber's front left paw as it limits the amount of poses you could put him in, it needs to be in the same shape/stance as the other paws.

I think this is probably the best view of him in the undershirt, one of the major complaints about the previous Snake Eyes was that he looked too skinny and lacked muscle definition. This one looks to correct that at least.

$200 for this or add $100 and get below. Geez tough choice...NOT! I had no idea even the regular version was soldout, just ordered from bbt.

From the pictures I really prefer SE with the sweater on and the goggles. That to me gives you the best look. Timber is alright. I'm not blown away by it but I'm buying this for SE anyways.

I'm kind of disappointed from the reveal. But i will purchase it since I missed out on the first version.

I think some major futzing is in order when he arrives.

If it were $200 and no NDA I might be apt to order it and hope for changes, alterations even better photography. The thing is as it stands I'm underwhelmed, I don't like the way the goggled head looks on the figure and Timber is a strange thing within itself. Given that these are the photos to go by and ordering is coming with an NDA I'll sit it out and see if it gets better. I don't think this will sell out
