Sideshow Snake Eyes and Timber 1/6th Figure Set

The reality and the bottom line is that Sideshow's priority is with the DC license compared to GI JOE. From a creative, economic, & production perspective . . . DC takes precedence and if GI JOE and other licenses/lines suffer, then so be it. DC is going to put $ in their coffers way more than GI JOE regardless of how loyal & supporting many are and will continue to be short of them <CENSORED>ing every new figure they choose to produce & release going forward.

In all honesty . . . I'm still worried about THE BARONESS PF, but the worse case scenario is that is if it is utter crap, then I'll get a refund.

Sideshow has a lot more products from what I can tell than a year or 2 ago. Sadly, they are making them not as collectable by flooding the market. I'm not sure why they think they can sell 6,000 Snake Eyes, when great figures like the Cobra Viper are still in stock at a 2,500 cap. Perhaps if they mark him down to $99, and ship him to retail outlets in time for christmas, but not with the current marketing plan. I am seriously thinking about cancelling my order in anticipation of major future markdowns. And where the cruddy duck is Destro!?!??
I don't think the line is dead, it's just being milked for all it's worth at the expense of it's customer base. Until everyone on this board starts army building General Hawk's and turning the Pit command Center's into our new toothbrush holder's, using the Recovery at Serpent Temple as paper weights and gifting all our family members Flint vs. Zartan for Xmas, we might as well accept it for what it is; a mexican standoff.

Snake Eyes is just a rehashed, parts re-use anyways....only thing new is the wolf and head sculpt

I see lots of new stuff on this figure. They did re-use some parts. But not even close to all of them.

Instead, lets support it by picking some extra troopers and Joes and bash them to make some figures that we won't likely see any time soon.
I'm currently working on Crankcase and I'll be picking up my 3rd Desert Sniper to make him.

I already supported the line by purchasing 18 Joes(plus doubles),I shouldn't have to buy extra's just to get MORE new figures from Sideshow

I want MORE New figures to be happy with this line period.

I want new figures as much as you or anyone else here does but I'm not going around saying that the Joe line is done for.
Do you think SS wants to see us all pissed off, do you think that they will move any faster if we all whine together like little children not getting what we want or should we be more patience and see what they have in store for us.

That's exactly what they want to happen. They said the same **** with Gandalf, Sam and Frodo, mentioning that the warehouse was full and they weren't sure of the direction of the line. I'm betting they damn well knew 1:6 LOTR was getting the axe and just wanted to dump the warehouse.

i think they know snake eyes will sell, and by no means i dont think they would be stupid enough to kill the joe line. the joe line is doing to well in sells compared to star wars 1/6 figures.

Depends. Normally, yes. But the Joe audience is such a niche market and the majority won't pay more than $30 for anything, especially if it wasn't made by Hasbro.

Hmmm. Reading that, it doesn't specifically say you'll be getting a G.I. Joe item when you order a G.I. Joe item. You'll probably get some leftover stock from another license.
