The HT version made me instantly say "All troops will debark for ground assault". This one, not so much.

The armor of the Snow Commander is reasonable, but the helmet kills it. There is still time to fix it though

Sideshow is making this. HT showed a proto last year but seems to have changed hands.

I was trying to find the words, but that's exactly what I was thinking.

I took a look at the photos on Sideshow's site, and TBH, the sculpt on all the pieces don't look too bad. Even the helmet that looked terrible in those shots from the cons looks a bit better in the new studio shots. But I think the cloth stuff on the outfit looks way oversized, making him look frumpy. Maybe the chest plate looks a bit too big and wide, also adding to the frumpy look. The price isn't terrible.

Definitely looks on the heavy side. Is that the correct pistol blaster? There's also no weathering so it may look too shiny with the other snowtroopers.
Easy pass for me, but it does look better than the previous shots.

Yes, frumpy and a bit oversized. But probably a nice figure if you army build.

DL-44 sidearm and clean/not-weathered appearance. Accurate to me.
