They should just let Hot Toys go ahead with their Snowtrooper Commander. As Hot Toy's distributor they might make more money than releasing their own. I will put a PO on Hot Toys on day one. I won't get this one.

Exactly. Comparing this with the HT proto makes you laugh and cry at the same time. Every time I look at Sideshow's Snow Commander I see this:

It begs the question, why did they even bother to put this on display in the first place? I just don't get Sideshow. They really don't do themselves any favours with the collector community.

It does show real disregard for their customer base. If they didn't have time to get up to standard just tease it and don't show the figure. They have done it before. Make sure it's good- like people have said it's not like there's a version they could examine or anything

To be honest, with all of the great reveals over the weekend, I think I would even pass on the better looking HT snowtrooper commander. The Emperor and Royal Guard are simply too tempting.

Color is off...weathering is horrible and the eyes are too squinty...not screen accurate AT ALL...
