It seemed fine to me...

That face looks pretty good to me compare to the other wrecks.

Here are the pics I took.
Excuse my camera skills. (The lack thereof)

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

Just got exclusive 442. I was nervous about this one after hearing about all of the paint problems and mine is average to below average. Typical black lines not connecting, paint smudges and lines are not completely straight. From what I have seen on the forum I received one just like everyone else. Very impressed with the statue, but the paint problems take away for sure. I did not buy the Iron Man Maquette because of all the paint problems. I think I might start waiting to purchase until after all of the horror stories out in the open. My last statue was the Hulk vs. Silver Surfer dio and the paint apps on that are perfect and there is a lot more detail in that piece. Sideshow has major quality issues. Somebody needs to start making 1/4 scale marvel pieces to give them some competition.

as much as i like their products their qc is really becoming an issue, i think maybe some competition would really be good for us collectors.

I went through the shipper box to find the chipped paint that got dislodged or whatever yet I couldn't find any. It was clean. Too clean, in fact.........Buyer's remorse, anyone?

edit: Wow. I just took a peek at the EX and it's creased! I mean, not that it really matters to me but seriously! The envelope itself look somewhat pristine compare to it!*SIGH*

Thanks laudel! Yeah, there's imperfect black lines here and there if you look close, but luckily not on the face or other too significant areas. Overall it's a pretty good paint job.
