Thor is the god of thunder and also elements in early comic lore he could command the earth to summon quake as a true god, the fact the movie makes him suseptable to a taser is laughable although i have not seen it so i do not know the details of it.

Hulk can only lift the hammer with Thor's hand on it though. The same does for Red Hulk. But what's Thor without his hammer? A super human who can't even fly without his hammer. I find it strange that he was zap with a taser and almost or just about knocked unconscious in the new movie. Shouldn't the god of thunder have some immunity against electricity?

Strange???? Thor was banished to earth by Odin and stripped of all his
powers. He was a meer mortal.

Was kinda thinking the same thing, as MOST mortals (that aren't cracked out) would easily be taken down by a taser gun.

It would be like Bruce Banner being tased as opposed to his alter ego The Hulk...Banner would go down/get pissed off, but the Hulk wouldn't even feel it.

Yeah he was stripped of his powers and didn't regain them until he learned his lesson and proved himself worthy of the powers of Thor. Don't see what is strange about him being tased and knocked out.

There's a Donald in this movie now? Strange that he claim to be "Thor" when he got tazed. I wonder if they edited this section only for the trailer.

They shift the storyline around so that Thor, when banished from Asgard takes on the alter ego of Donald Blake because he was Natalie Portmans Ex boyfriend. I wish they would for once with these Marvel movies stick with how things are supposed to be. But then again the movies would have to be about 5 hours long to explain the situation to non comic reading public

Well, I've been reading Thor comics for over a year now. This guy looks big/ripped for a homeless guy. I haven't seen any Donald Blake in the trailer, maybe I'll see him in the movie trying to save someone's eye/vision in the movie. And hopefully I remember to sleep well and see it early Saturday morning to avoid the crowds.

That's why you gotta be careful about these details. Turns out Superman had a son from the last movie....what else will show up from this movie? Did they show some hint/clue to Avengers as some say so? Something about a Hawkeye?

I there are definitely hints to the Avengers movie and there is a character that I thought must be Hawkeye in Thor, they never actually mention his name but he is working for Shield - also Thor falling for Natalie Portman and Sif being ok with this?!!! No way, Sif would tear anyone a new one just for looking at Thor the wrong way!!

Agent Colson calls him Barton. . .which is Hawkeye's last name. I have been avoiding spoilers and didn't know he was gonna appear, so it was a nice surprise to see him.

Don't think the Enchantress shows up too much but Sif is my Goddess!!! Just finished reading Son of Asgard TPB its great - Sif has my vote anytime.
