Just got a spiderman off of waitlist, im sure its a repaint... or possibly another one found in spring cleaning... so stoked!!! so glad they are cleaning the warehouse.

Superman is ok. It will go up in value but I'll get him only because I want to display the main JLA members, not for any value he'd have. I'm not a huge fan of him and I don't buy to flip later. I buy the characters I love. I love Batman, slightly below Spider-Man, so getting him is not even a question.

Well I'm not recommending this so that folks can flip them for profit, so much as so folks don't feel pangs of regret (like many probably are for Spidey now) and are tempted to pay 2-3X more than retail for him later. Supes and Bats, assuming they are executed well, and don't have 15 different variations produced (both big ifs) should be huge SSC grails down the road.

True, I see what you're saying. There will be no regrets here when they do come along because I'll be ready. In my case I didn't know this Spidey existed until last year, otherwise I'd have him if I knew about it.

In other news, since the last time I complained about not having any of the 1/4 Spideys I did manage to get a Regular Iron Spider-Man comiquette from someone who sold it for SSC's originsl price. Great condition, no damage. It's not red & blue but I couldn't let that pass. Seeing how I'm at least a year out from all of the Spider-Man 1/4s, I'm more than excited to get this regular.

Will never pay for any Sideshow pieces that sell more than its retail price regardless, whats its status or edition numbers are. Sucks to get in the game late.

I agree. It's an awesome shot. I also like the angle of the shot. Haven't seen too many pics shot in a downward direction like that one. Barb's pics are just great all around.
