Thanks, brothers. It's definitely the greatest piece I've ever owned.

anyone know what exactly is the issue with the paint/lines that was mentioned here, from the photos everything looked great.
i never got this piece off ebay because of those problems mentioned, but looking at the latest photos dont see anything wrong with it.
Thanks, Phil. Nope, he was at the Phoenix Con last year and I simply couldn't pass up a chance to get the legend's sig on this fine statue.Wow those are some nice pics. Love the Stan Lee signature to. Did you meet him at SDCC?

I only wish he was going to be there this year so I could get his sig on my Hulk Comiquette.![]()
The line issues (specifically, the black 'webbing') were primarily focused on the face from what I remember, but some people had issues on the arms, back, etc. It wasn't an extremely common thing, but there were a number of people who had issues.
i kick myself for not ordering this and the venom. ship sailed. whatever.
Do it, brother! He's gonna be in our local ComiCon & don't mind if I take a page out of your book & get my Spidey base signed as well Barb.![]()
^^^ Here's an example.
ah thanks, so basically missing some black lines? that should be easy to fix.
and i kick myself for reselling both but then again the profit margin is really good.i kick myself for not ordering this and the venom. ship sailed. whatever.
To the contrary, I think sloppy paint work was the norm rather than the exception with this statue. Some were better than others, of course, but a lot of the statues that look nicer are probably too far away to tell any different. I had to return one to get one that was acceptable, and it isn't perfect. I've actually got two now, and both have their issues, but appear as good as I was gonna get from Sideshow based on pics. The line issues (specifically, the black 'webbing') were primarily focused on the face from what I remember, but some people had issues on the arms, back, etc. It wasn't an extremely common thing, but there were a number of people who had issues.
Barbarian, that's what i've been talking about! As always, your pics enlighten the rest of us. Welcome back brother, welcome back.
