Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Did you buy your tickets online? Most peeps make that mistake. The extra $5 is a surcharge by the company selling the tickets online. Don't buy the sig tickets online. They sell them onsite at the Con for $50. They even gave me a $5 discount because I paid cash. $50 at the booth got me his sig and a COA as well. I learned this the hard way myself. I made the mistake of buying a few tickets online. Now I know better.

Congrats again Ski. I know full well how great a day that was for you.

NOT online. $55 straight up at the booth.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Here in Chicago the price is $55...that's not bad although paying for a 1 day sat. pass is $60 or the whole con for $90 (which makes better sense for me even though I can only go 2 days out of the four). Add that plus the $55 for Stan's sig. I'm sure Stan's appearance alone also drives up the price just for admission into the convention. C2E2 ticket prices are $55 for all 3 days but Stan will not be attending this.
The back wall seems to be the most common place, but I had Stan sign mine in the front so that it can be seen without having to turn the statue around. I agree though that there aren't many places other than the back and the small platform in the front to put any sig on.

Yeah. That's exactly where I got mine signed as well. I like to see it at all times so that made it the perfect place for me.

Bro, DO NOT buy tickets online if you go again this year. Buying the tickets online with signature and COA will cost you $60 total. Go to the desert winds booth (same place you got the COA). They sell Stan's sig tickets and COA for $50 if you pay cash. You'll save $10 a pop. That's a substantial savings if you get multiple pieces signed.

I hope the deal is still in place this year at WW Chicago. According to Ski, he went to the booth in St. Louis and they charged him $55 for his sig. That's OK. I'm still going to wait until the Con. It won't hurt to get the tickets there and maybe the deal they had last year will still be offered. We lose nothing by waiting until the Con.

I definitely agree with you...with the way ticket prices are climbing each year, every $$$ I can save is great. It also makes sense to wait because he may cancel and it would save the headache of getting a refund, especially for the people who paid for VIP tickets. I know he was scheduled to appear at the con in OH last year but cancelled at the last minute.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

I decided the wait has been too long, I will obtain this. Failure is not an option.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

I secured the Spiderman Com. I managed to put a deposit down on one & now I just need to make 2 more payments. Man I'm so happy :yess:
