Back to the Scott Trooper! I can't wait! I hope an Endor Luke isn't far behind!

It' s great to see that the hoth figures will be hitting soon, including the tauntaun, but budget only allows me to collect from mainly one of the OT. So as i already have the bulk of the jabba setup, i'm sticking with Rotj with the po's of R2, scout + bike, chewy and the future ( not too long hopefully ) 3po.
But can't wait to see fellow freaks in-hand pictures of them, especially together with the already released probe droid. If that figure is any indication, we should all be in for some pics of serious OT goodness!

Wow, did not expect both the Ex Bike and Scout to go waitlist so soon. Maybe they are being sensible and limiting the numbers a little. Regardless, great set and glad I ordered. Really looking forward to seeing them on display.

Was considering using a coupon on the bike and scout EX set, but I had my suspicions that it would go to waitlist before it became eligible. I'm betting it would convert in one or two business days if I jumped on the waitlist based on previous experience. Maybe, I'll just get the Scout from another retailer or not at all.

I would have waited for a lower price, but I wanted that rifle.

I cancelled twice to try and re-order with a coupon too.

I would've liked to have the rifle, but I only really need the tiny ankle holster blaster. The card thing doesn't matter at all to me.

I'm displaying him with my Sandtrooper and Snowtrooper, and they both have long guns. Thought it would look cool.

Yeah. There's a little card with the speeder specs on it that comes with th EX speeder. I don't need that.

Yeah, really wanted that long gun. Cool design (even better than the faux-Kenner snowie gun.) Glad I didn't give in to my coupon-luvin' ways.

I don't think the coupon works if you get as a set, cause it already applies a $25 off bundle coupon. If you bought separately you could use 2 monthly codes at different times to save the extra $15 but then might pay a bit more in shipping. The exclusive for the bike is pretty forgettable.

Agreed, I can't ever see having the card out on view. I think it would kinda take me out of the display, a little (too museum-y). Still, since I ordered as a set, the collector side of me is happy to take it -- even if I look at it once and leave it in the box.

The long rifle, on the other hand, is really cool. That's something that would bug me if I didn't have it. Didn't think I'd care about the Snowtrooper rifle, either, but eventually tracked it down and bought one loose, off someone here.

I forget which figure I finally had to give up on. It was long ago, somewhere when prices went up and CA tax increased. Of course, when I say "went up" it was like from $70 to $90.

I've got a few (Tusken Raider, Vader), but probably more non-exclusives that exclusives. Only one I really regret not getting was IG-88's vibro-ax. I always loved the look of that weapon on the Hasbro and no-one will part out the ax by itself (refuse to buy another IG-88 just to get the ax).

Yeah, best EX's were Hammerhead and IG-88's. The ones with Tusken and Vader were pretty meh. Luke Hoth's is pretty cool (IF the heads come out decent that is.)

Agree with you on Hammerhead and IG-88, but I love the Tusken's extra Gaffi weapon (helps to differentiate them a bit, as I bought three Raiders). Vader's and now 3PO's are more lacklustre, for sure. They're in that category of nice to have but not essential. At least they haven't sunk as low as they did with Greedo. That has to be the all time worst EX SSC ever did.
