Good point, Maulfan, regarding the hoopla. I'm getting mine on Thursday and will have to live vicariously through the early birds getting their's. I do feel for our Freaks brothers & sisters that have to wait weeks or months for their's. But then the thread gets a nice bump with more pics and excitement.

It's weird how it is sometimes though, even like a week, week and a half after the first arrivals of a figure, new additions to the thread can become meh to the public, like the only value is if you're the early, first hand accounts.

that is odd. could just be an error, they could arrive on Monday for both of you. I sent in the form for SS to only ship my stuff UPS since my FedEx guys are horrible and my UPS guy knows to wait till after 5:00 to deliver my signature required packages or if he does miss me during the day he'll actually make another trip to catch me after work.

Well it looks like Tom may have almost got 3 exclusives...

There are benefits. Losers score the beer-goggled hot chicks who likely won't remember you giving them the orgasm of their life, the ass who'd likely pick on you to impress them is likely crashed out with his face in the toilet, nobody will know whether or not you raid their wallets for leftover cash and the designated driver will have already left with their passenger!

So I'd say, just hold off a bit till everyone flocks to the Snake Eyes thread to see inhand pics then post your gems. Likely you'll remind them just how beautiful the Stormtrooper is (hopefully ).

24 days after Tom posted his classic swing-set-pics, my troopers have arrived. Hadn't had the time to inspect them yet though.

Well, went and got the future for this today and picked up my Trooper at the post office..there is a problem..the left calf armor is missing the teeth-like grill at the knee..its just a open rectangle right through the armor..freakin SSC man..and the body is pretty darn loose like the others i had seen a week prior..so, i asked the seller if he can send a replacement calf piece...doubt i will get one..what the hell do i do now?..i knew i was going to get a defective one.

WTF! is the reason for not moulding the calf armor as one whole piece..i don't get it at all...cheap mutha.

I hope your seller can send it back to SS. Seems like a no brainer that they will send out a replacement. Hopefully you just have to return the shin armour and not the entire figure.

Have you opened the box to see if it just dislodged and is floating around inside somewhere?

Actually, Valfar, you may want to contact the seller about that ASAP. Assuming you didn't open the box before you took that pic. In the pic you showed us, there's a tear in the cardboard on the bottom right corner that's consistent with the bottom box flap being opened carelessly. So if you didn't open it, he did.

I contacted SS, the seller told me to do this first..so, SSC said the seller should replace this for you and that my other option was for SSC to send the piece to me, while i would pay shipping for it..no sir..i am not doing that, not for this..first SS figure i recieved with something that is driving me batty..So, i would much rather have the seller just send me a new piece..after all he should fix this crap not me.

LOL, i had to take a pic of the medicom doing this..if the trooper was to come to me complete, i was still going to take a pic of the medicom pointing at the SS ones crotch with the medicom having a ZC girl Eve chicky in his other arm lol.

Its possible he did..this figure comes with the tray and cover..no twists or anything right? and the thermal detenator is wrapped in like tissue paper?..i contacted him though and he said try SSC first but, if they will not send one then i will, but he said it would take longer...the tear is not really as bad as it looks..its more of a hairline through the box...the item came in a SSC Stormtrooper shipper box..i guess it fit 2 items originally and he just put the one in with news paper as filler..the item was in a clear plastic bag..though he could had easily took it out and then taped it again..these are much like Hot Toys figures..very collector friendly packaging and easy to tamper with..well no sorry more close to Medicom collector friendly packaging lol..some Hot Toys have twist ties.
