Well, if i buy a SSC item again...i will go through them possibly or just go local to Toys2 and pick up what i want there, besides i mostly buy Hot Toys and AutoArt/Kyosho as of late anyway..but, i will be keeping this loose ass trooper, the paint on him is pretty darn good all around..i just got to figure out a way to tighten up the joints..well, ankles more so..maybe the clear nailpolish trick?, and for the over paint of the eye lenses..what did most people use to paint it?..i remember someone saying "white stick" or something like that lol..blah.

Don't use nail polish, glue or anything else. Strip him down to the body and just tighten the screws a bit. It's that easy. BTW, Sideshow has them on 2nd chance so you can pick up a better one if you want more.

Hey! Stop laughing at the Medicom in that pic and laugh at the fact the SSC Trooper is missing the knee plate on his left leg..looks like its missing more then what mine is..no one notice this? hahahaha.
*edit* nevermind..you must had put the shin armor on the wrong leg or it came to you reversed like that on the opposite leg and you never changed it...easy fix.

Got my 2 a couple days ago from Alter-Ego. Did the chest 'water-boil' immediately - Looks GREAT. Have to grab some velcro strips from the craft section of Wal-Mart on the weekend to attach the back of the chest armor...and double sided tape for the leg armor (so it doesn't float around), and the future shine to buff these guys up. Will post some pics once they're all buffed and futzed to perfection.
Overall, I think these are GREAT figures. Perhaps even the best so far in the 1/6 SW line...which bodes well for Vader.

I took it apart to mod it and reversed the armor by mistake. LOL. I hope you got that armor from Toyaniety cause its gone.
