Got my Ex on friday and this figures is great. SS hit a homer with this one IMO. Now I just gotta wait for my regs and for Vader to get my setup finished.

Where did HT have a hand in the Gandalf figure? Obviously the head is cast in the flesh tone instead of it being painted on but so was Indy's.

They didn't. Otherwise their name would be on the box. They contributed to the Hobbit bodies though.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I actually went to check the bottom of the box where they've been putting the sticker and then I remembered I purged most of my boxes a couple months back.

I think what he's refering to is the fact that in the last 25 posts 9 of them have been you stating the same opinion (again and again). Stating an opinion is fine--ad nauseum gets tiring for some as they try and read through the thread.

Thanks for the advice. I took it and all I can say is you should really check your Medi Sandy too. I don't recall there being any Sandtroopers in ROTJ.

In the end, I could really give two craps or a screw about the differences between the troopers. If you're going to nitpick it to hell, you're taking the fun out of collecting as I don't see how the hell you can really enjoy it with posts like that. I also find it completely hypocritical that people nitpick the hell out of Sideshow's releases whereas these same people cut the other companies slack despite them cutting corners by molding pieces together, being equally inaccurate and nearly twice the price (Medicom) or requiring 100x the amount of work (Marmit) just to make them acceptable.

that kit, + some patience you can make Femtroopers like this one.

been trying to track down one of these kits forever. sooo happy! this brings my trooper squad count to 4. 1 medi, 2 sideshow, and a 1 femme.

I bought another Stormtrooper on 2nd Chance from SS on early Friday morning, around 3am SS time because I am from the other side of the globe! And I am probably one of the last few SS customers to get a free promo figure because not long after my order, the notice went up that the promo is over as all the free figures have been given out. Now, I am excited waiting for my Stormtrooper to arrive and also to find out what free figure I get. I certainly hope its not another Buffy!

I think they ran out of the Buffy's (that's what I received) and the later orders received other items-- I heard of one person getting a Kit Fisto character key, so hopefully you get something good.

heh, don't congratulate me yet, I JUST bought my kit, i haven't started yet, those pics are from OSW, Not my work, simply an example to show what you can do with that armor. and i agree, it does look ALOt like medi- armor. it';s made of a simular vinyl.

I'll put my own pics up when I make her. Not planning a shadow trooper.

Didn't 21 Century produced MG34 set an year or so ago? They were sold at Toys'R'Us for around $10-$12 if I'm not mistaken... Last month Ive been at my local store and they still had them for sale (through now it was desert version or something). In any case, if you can't find one, drop me a line and I'll see if I can find a spare one in my stash.
