Sideshow stormies use abs plastic for the armour whereas medicom use vinyl, sideshow also has better weapon sculpts than medicom and the exclusive comes with an extra pistol not used in the films but seen in some promotional photos. don't think i missed anything i'm sure someone can fill in what i did miss.

Also, different material used for the armor. In addition, the SS ones are representative of the ANH version, while the Medi ones are ROTJ.

The BIGGEST reason for me as to why I passed on Medi and am looking forward to this is the accuracy of the 'eyes'. They sit low like the real helmets. Medi's are incorrectly right up to the brim.

I know, I'm really hoping Iron Man is a January release. With 3 Sideshow figures (Ki, Fleet Trooper and Subject 138) confirmed for december and the GoHero Buck Rogers I don't know if I could also swing another $175 for a Stormie and Iron Man.

I'll have to, but know I won't be happy
