Newsletter now has them shipping in December... not sure if this is new or not, but thought I'd pass it along:

Star Wars: Stormtrooper 12-inch Figure - #2124 & Ex. #21241 Now December 2008

Not very often... but as you buy more from them (and others who do pre-orders) you just come to expect delays.

I was just looking at the exclusive blaster on this figure. And with all of the detail that Sideshow has been on top of, lately, I really do hope that they didn't just cheese out on these. They look a little...Hasbro-ish in the picture.

i agree with Cruel, it does look a little "toyish" lets just hope they put as much detail in it as they've been doing with some of their recent figures and acessories, which have been, imo top notch.

Just a head's-up; Toys R' Us is currently selling a set of two 21st Century Toys MG-34s. As you may or may not know (I know it's been mentioned in this thread already), this was the gun used as the base for the BlasTech DLT-19 rifle seen in ANH.

The best part is, it was hardly modified at all; Just a few little bits n' pieces glued on here and there. In silhouette, it's essentially the same weapon.

Either way, you get a couple of 'em for 10 buckeroos. It might be worth a trip.

I picked up a couple of these sets at Wal-Mart for like 8 or 9 dollars. They are great to use for the Stormies, but one in each set does have the bipod connected at the wrong end.

Mine puts these sets on clearance from time to time...got 2 packs for $2.50 each back in spring :rock

Can anyone who was at SDCC confirm whether the armor has a glossy sheen like in the films?

Damn, those troopers look sick! Definitely have a nice glossy look to them in that photo... hopefully it translates into the final product.

Damn....I don't own ANY SS products and passed on the Medi ones, but I cannot wait to own a couple of these. They look spot on.

When are they out?
