I can't believe that they would spend all that time and money on Vader's R&D and not have him produced on a fantastic body.

Indy was a fluke. Lets just accept that and move on.

Yeah, but Clonobi and the Hobbits all had more issues than is normal. So far with Sideshow they are 3 for 3 on so-so first bodies... but at least the Harbinger (on the Pro) came out good.

Vader is the most demanded figure is this line, I don't see Sideshow putting out nothing short of perfection with him.

Vader is the big gun, I really hope SS perfects him. You think by now they would know that they have to thoroughly test and perfect new bodies that they put out.

The legs were loose on mine and I remember hearing that from others. Also I think some had weak arms.

I had loose arms and legs on my first, and slightly better but still not TrueType tight arms on the second, same legs though. I hate beating the dead horse, but the Medicom RAH and Hot Toys TT set the bar for me in terms of body quality, both have always felt sturdy and stiff jointed and hold poses for me, I've never feared or dealt with floppyness or anything with them. Sideshow's new body designs are really nice, if they can just firm them up, it'll be great.

I once thought that about their 1:6 Indy...

Ya, Indy was strange, at least his paint apps, he's like a step backward after Clonobi, Gandalf and the hobbits. He's still a really nice figure, but I'd say he's not the best he could have been, and really my only issue is his face paint apps, and again, they're not bad, but after the streak of figures I mentioned, it was like a step back, and I don't see why he couldn't have turned out like the others.

My Clone obi wan was just fine in every way: body, paint detail, sculpt

Indy's body is very loose loose, so much so that his forearm completely detaches from the upper arm anytime I move him....and he is tiny. Not happy with Indy at all. I will be shocked if Vader is anything less than perfect. Lord knows they have had three years with him!

Well if they turn out as nice as the recent Dead figure did I'll be happy... kind of considering swapping out Indy's body with that one, a zombie can have a floppy neck IMO.

I hear good things about the Zombie figure's Pro quality, glad to know figures on it are showing signs of improvement.

I remember reading on here that the True Type body uses rubber washers at the joints. That is why the range of motion of the limbs feels smooth and tight. The same poster said that the joints on Sideshow's bodies are just plastic on plastic. That is why it is so easy for them to end up loose. If this is the case, hopefully Vader's body is entirely different than the Prometheus and utilizes similar rubber washers at the joints.

Not sure where that information comes from. I've got a bare TT right here and it's all plastic. Accidentally removed one of the lower legs the other day and it's all plastic connections, similar to the Pro's construction. Not sure where the difference lies, but I don't see anything special used to cause the tightness quality.
