I'm trying to concentrate my collecting into three different lines: The Dark Knight, Iron Man, and Star Wars. That's it. After I get a good collection of those I'll pretty much just become a casual collector picking up only things that really wow me. This hobby is too damn expensive.

I'm doing The Dead as my main line now. Its fun and simple to collect. SW its very specific characters that I want that I don't already have like Vader, Stormies, etc. I've got all 3 Iron Man figures coming because that movie was awesome. Some of the GI Joes will join as thats something my Dad and I are sharing. Other than that it has to be something that knocks my socks off.

LOL! I was thinking the same thing! Yeah, times are tough right now, and this hobby is the furthest thing from a necessity. But all this talk about canceling and dropping figures is really bringing me down!

Sadly, I'm fighting right now to find a way to avoid this, but it's quite possible I won't be a "new" collector before the year's out. I'm trying to move out on my own and a lot of appartments look to run around 3/4 of my monthly pay and then add gas and food. I really want to get out though and as much as I hate it, I'd rather move my life forward and leave this all behind than to hold onto this hobby and have no life besides it.

Pretty much the boat I am now. I also want to be able to afford to game. So my collectible days are pretty much done.

Yeah, I've never found belly button tats attractive. But I guess there are worse ones out there ...I'm assuming most of these are on guys though. Girls must love them.
