Why would anyone want this cheap looking, liver-diseased Superman head sculpt over the EPIC head sculpt that's currently there. Yeah to each his own and all that **** but really Spidey is being nice about it, but you two @gipetto and @illbecumingonabat sound stupid. Just IMO. If you cant afford it dont talk as if you can. And really the MoS over comic? Like WTF

Yes.
1) I am a big fan of the movie
2) the new suit style blows away the comic book one IMO.
3) The comic version looks nice. But he kind of looks a little over weight. To be honest.

I dont know how I can be that much clearer, there is way too much redness around the nose, eyes and forehead.

Those could be signs of any skin condition, anyway at least now you were specific as to why in your mind you think he is suffering liver disease by explaining the signs, instead of just saying it looks like he has liver disease because that is what someone with liver disease looks like.

He looks like he's much older than the current comic PFs sculpt and to be honest looks like a Superman from the 1940s or 50s. He looks like a much older version of Superman and to be honest doesn't look that Super at all. And even though the yellowing isn't as obvious as with ppl with liver disease, he does have early indication of liver disease from the blotchiness and redness around his skin. IF there is any more clarification you need please let me know.

Again, any skin condition could have account for that. Instead of saying he has liver disease you should just say he looks older because those liver spots (age spots) are also a sign of aging, not necessarily an early indication of liver disease.

I actually like both but if I had to pick between the two (which I am since funds aren't infinite :thud:) I went with the comic book version and really don't see anything wrong with either version.

Although I loved the movie a whole lot but wished they went a little slower with it. I'm not sure why there is a lot of hate for MoS movie but that's for another thread.

I liked it too. Glad I'm not a sucker for movie details/ inaccuracies . I just enjoyed the ride.

:exactly: the main complaint I see is people feel it was too dark. I guess they want superman to act like a Power Ranger.:cuckoo:

That is not at all the reason why the film failed. It simply falls flat. It is all style over substance. Rushed story development, weak acting by some key players and even the action gets tedious by the end. It wasn't horrible but it was largely forgetable. It will certainly not live on like the Dark Knight Trilogy which is disappointing as many felt it was a squandered oppertunity.

For Me I thought MOS was great. It met my expectations. They were finally able to show how a super being can really fight and move ect.. Something we never seen in a superman movie before. Also I really liked the way they told the origin story. Like all movies it comes down to preference. One persons awesome movie. May be anothers meh movie.

If I had to pick one negative with it. It would be that the relationship with Lois felt a little rushed.

Yup, I didn't sense any chemistry with Lois...it felt forced. Other than that, I enjoyed the movie. It doesn't have a real profound story...it is what it is, an action flick.

I don't get it..
I think the MOS PF looks great.
I think the traditional PF looks great too.

It's my opinion theres not much else for you to get. I am not a fan of the MoS PF. I was interested in getting it disappointed me. my boat

Get what you want and don't insult what others like.
Hey man, I took what I thought was an insult and just reacted.

No sir, it's get what you want and insult everyone else's choices.

That's the rules.
lol:wave
I'm getting both and hopefully Reeve when that one comes out so I can display them side by side.
I too will be getting Reeves :)
I hope its not like that...in my experience the haters tend to have small collections
I started with the Batman PF and have 3 PFs, a 1/6th and a 1/4 Heman EX and a comiquette on the way. I'm still waiting on atleast 6 PFs I will be PO'ing as soon as SS releases them in god knows when. I'm also not a hater, I love the suit and saw the tease and was like damn and thought the overall PF would be amazing and put a dent in my wallet. I was very underwhelmed by the overall product. You never know though cause the in-hand might be amazing.

I'm not going to get started on the movie. However it was good and entertaining.
The new suit doesn't have that timeless quality. The comic PF suit is the classic Its a simple suit made for what looks like a child's costume. This grown *** man is wearing it and you'd think it looks stupid but it doesn't. It makes him look like a God and have real weight.

I'm not going to get into a conversation about skin diseases lol we're done. You ask for too much writing.

No one wants Superman to act like a Power Ranger lol Except perhaps Tim Burton and a certain :cuckoo: himself, Mr. Nicholas Cage.
It wasn't the darkness, it was the fact that they lost the essence of who Superman is. But again, i still liked the movie for what it was. Though it really broke my heart. :peace

I liked the whole movie except the Lois relationship. It did feel rushed and while I like Amy Adams I really didn't think she was good enough for this Superman, she was very underwhelming.
