IDK I don't think EBs one is as good as this, likeness wise.

Nevertheless, EB's one is still far more realistic, since this just looks like painted stone, oh wait that is what it is right? :lol

If they had any brains they would if they want the most realistic sculpt ever. However, they would still need to learn how to paint the faces better though. Why is that they can paint everything else pretty good like the base etc but can't paint human faces? :huh

Oh I wouldn't know as I was never interested in that figure, feel stupid now. :slap

Yeah I bet you are right they would have sold more.

When will you show us pics of that then? :impatient:

Here is a pic with the more accurate Harley Motorcycle...

Wow that is such a massive difference! :clap

So not impressed with the Dutch repaint?

I am impressed. Looks great. I do have this PF, but would never dream of trying to modify it as I have zero skills in this area. Mine is the standard factory paint, but I still love it, it's totally Dutch to me, however if I could modify it to look like yours, I would. Looks great!

Was that a repaint? I thought it looked like the standard SSC paint app? :lol What have they done different? The complexion seems to look more slick....

You should know, the factory PJ on Dutch looks too yellow, like he has jaundice and has has googly eyes (sideshows most famous trait). This repaint has the right skin color and eyes look fine to me.

I wanted to buy it but I hated that PJ, glad it is good enough for you though and it still looks like Arnold.:wink1:

Well its not mine it was just from a website but I am glad you think it looks great because I was hoping for a positive response, since with a great paint job it really brings out the likeness IMO.

:hi5:

Not sure, still prefer the one i have. The eyes were fine on mine too. Here, take a look at this link off the Dutch PF thread. Will show you my customised base and also how i customised Dutch's stogie with a lighted end! :yess:

My Dutch portrait looks just fine out the box.
I've actually owned three portraits, 2 reg and an Ex, and not a googly eye in sight.

I have never seen one without googly eyes or eyes that are alined in the same direction. The right eye is usually facing straight and the left eye is usually looking towards the left.

Well as long as you are happy with it that's all that matters. ;)

Oh yeah your customized base looks cool and so does the lighted stogie well done! :clap

A bit like this one then? :rotfl
:slap The repainted eyes look worse than mine.

Hmm both eyes appear to be looking straight pretty much in that repaint and thus, alined. However, there not enough pics to judge this for certain, so :dunno

Anyway forget the eyes I think the PJ on the skin is better than the factory one but this is going off topic. So I think someone should start talking about how much better the EB one is than this PF again, to get things back on topic :lol

:offtopic: Not much stays on topic around here :rotfl
Oh, and stop dissing Dutch :thwak :wink1:

Yeah especially this thread, everyone just talks about the EB BD Terminator here. :lol

Oh, and stop dissing Dutch :thwak :wink1:

I actually like Dutch so the last thing I want to be doing is Dissing it. Nevertheless, I won't say another nit pick or problem about the factory paint job. :wink1:

Just noticed your new arrivals, so this one is a new arrival for you? Did u get the EX?

Nah mate. I got the Ex on release and my son in law fell in love with it :rotfl
I quickly realised, for me, the Ex portrait would stay in the box because it really didn't suit the pose. I sold it to him for retail and waited for a good deal on a regular.
Got a regular in the end for about £90 cheaper. I'd rather have the cash than a box with a never used portrait in it.

Yeah you are right it doesn't suit the pose, the only thing good about is that it is worth more.

I know how you feel, it bothers the hell out of me how the EX items for my Jason PF just sit in a box. I think you made the right decision. ;)

LOL! :lol
I know, but that's to be expected. It happens in every thread where multiple manufacturers work on the same subject.

We always love to compare. :)

Well if that is the case here is something else that is :offtopic:

Do most people agree here that EB's BD Terminator is the best Arnold sculpt to date?
