There are pluses and minuses to both IMO. Clothing and stand blow EB away IMO but EB comes with some great extras which is far better then the thumbs up SSC extra. I know this is a no no to say here but I really do think that the PF got the face sculpt a little better. It just has the Arnold thinness and age that he had in that film. Both EB sculpts IMO are a bit too full in the face and thus just a tad too young looking. But it is only noticeable if I compare it to certain photos of the film. At least to me it looks that way. However the EB sculpt does look better from the total 360 view.

The sideshow sculpt just looks weird from his eyebrows up to me. The rest of it is good.

I'll express my brief point of view...

The Enterbay T-800 wins hands down for me in every aspect other than....

The PF weathering on the clothes is actually better and the PF base is also a lot better when compared to the Enterbay version. If I had the chance to switch these 2 factors over to the Enterbay version then for me The Enterbay figure would be perfect! Remember, no piece is ever 100% perfect.

Therefore, i'd always pick Enterbays version - and I collect both PF's and figures so i'm always looking for the most realistic and best quality item out there for that particular character.

I still for the life of me cant see how people are saying that the PF headsculpt has more resemblance to Arnold compared to EB's headsculpt? I just cant see it...:dunno

The nose and mouth are too wide on the EB if you compare with the pic from the movie.

Ok thanks for taking my advice Jaws and coming over now I don't feel so lonely about thinking this sculpt is better than Enterbays. :1-1:

So which one do you think is better then?

Thats fine, but i cant even begin to see any similarities with the PF facesculpt?!:dunno

Fair enough if you don't think the likeness is perfect but no similarities at all? This looks like Arnold to me.

And adding what Jaws says the face is leaner as the cheek bones are more pronounced. Jaws was right Enterbay's one is not lean enough for T2, the BF% is too high as there are no cheek bones and the jaw/chin is not defined.

@ Darkavatar - which one will you be owning in your collection? Will you be ordering the PF or do you think you'll be getting the Enterbay version of the T-800?

You cant really compare the pics up there as it's not even the same face (in terms of battle damage) or the same angle

I think the actual eye of the PF looks more like Arnie, possibly because of the more prnounced frown and maybe the head of the EB one is slightly too wide but the PF best likeness is at the angle the photo Dark posted

The EB one.

I know I must sound like a hypocrite now but I agree with Jaws, both this and EB have their pros and cons.

Also I still can't decide which one has better likeness, but the PF does look more like the way Arnold should look in T2, as far as being skinnier in the face.

Nevertheless, it all comes down to what IMO think is a better item overall out of the two and I say it is EB one as it is the best figure I have ever seen! Looks like a real person! :rock

Yeah maybe it only looks good on angles like the one I posted. :dunno

And that my friend....is exactly what i think! God Bless you Son! :goodpost::hi5::fireworks:fest:woo

I knew that would make you happy but you going to get this PF, since you like the base and weathered clothes?

BTW thanks for the party! :lol

:hi5:

ha! No, i have the EB clean and battle damaged figures and there is no way i'm gonna choose anything over these two. They are just the besy figures money can buy! I have thought about building myself a custom base similiar to that of the PF but with not much time on my hands it will have to be nothing but a thought for the time being....

The only Sideshow Arnie piece i have is the Dutch Schaeffer PF from Predator and the reason why im keeping him is because of the new Pred 2 maquette arriving from Sideshow otherwise like my two other Terminator PF's i had from Sideshow- they are now SOLD! And that is purely based on the fact the EB versions are that good! :)

I love that PF, that is the best Arnold sculpt IMO. You probably disagree though right?

You mean the Dutch PF? Yea, its okay...disppointed with the base (which in the end i had to customise myself) as for the likeness of Arnie, i'd give it a 7 out of 10. I always have to go back to the Enterbay Battle Damaged facesculpt and compare it to polystone - there is just no comparison, the EB version wins hands down. I wonder in the future if they'll start using the same material used by Hot Toys/Enterbay for the facesculpt and incorporate it with a polystone body? Like Blitzway are doing with their 1/3 Bruce Lee statue!

Wow great display, everyone else poses Rambo with his shirt off, looks so much better on. :wink1:

Also love the clean T-800 with motorcycle!

Thats Darkavatar, yea, i had a custom shirt made for my rambo figure so thats why so many you see just have his vest on - i think had Enterbay included a shirt with the accessories then they would have sold a lot more figures!

Again, for my T2 on Harley, the motorcycle was a custom made one. Ive since sold the bike you see in the picture and purchased an actual movie accurate Fatboy to complete my display...:)

IDK I don't think EBs one is as good as this, likeness wise.

Nevertheless, EB's one is still far more realistic, since this just looks like painted stone, oh wait that is what it is right? :lol

If they had any brains they would if they want the most realistic sculpt ever. However, they would still need to learn how to paint the faces better though. Why is that they can paint everything else pretty good like the base etc but can't paint human faces? :huh

Oh I wouldn't know as I was never interested in that figure, feel stupid now. :slap

Yeah I bet you are right they would have sold more.

When will you show us pics of that then? :impatient:
