Can't wait to receive the Mad Titan.

Does anyone else feel that this piece is closer to 1/3 scale than 1/4 ?
(I think it would be interesting to see this SS Thanos Maquette next to the 1/4 scale XM Studios Thanos for size / scale comparison).

Any collectors who own the XM Thanos and have ordered this piece, please show some pics when you receive. (side by side).

I understand that SS and "Igo" have mentioned that it is 1/4 scale, but when I look at photos it seems bigger to me.
Either way this piece is magnificent. (understatement - This piece is absolute goodness, wrapped in kickass and with a "King of all Thanos" bow tied on top).

*** Apologies if this has already been discussed / covered - I looked but could not find. ***

Congrats to all who have ordered this beauty.

It is 1/4 scale...but I think some will be disappointed by the actual size (smaller than they imagine). I guess we will all see it at SDCC to know for sure.

Absolutely right about SDCC ....can't wait for it to get here. I want to see this Mad Titan and the new SSC Magneto!

I'm stoked for some decent pics. :rock I'm curious the in-person presence that this one carries with it.

Hmmm I'm betting this one will be perfect and best of the show....Geezzz. When has that happened before only to have them ship out a total piece of crap later down the road....:lol:lol

People should know by now that what is at SDCC and shown, very seldom makes it to the final production run in the same shape, condition or quality....:monkey3:monkey3

I certainly hope this isn't the case for those that have it on order, but I myself have been burned as have many in the past with this exact situation. If this piece doesn't measure up to the proto when people receive it, there will be a riot or lots of cancellations especially with the crazy huge ES that SSC has put on this guy.

SS will mitigate the financial impact of some issues (paint flaws or fit issues) by not refunding shipping costs and making customers pay to ship it back. These are hand crafted unique creations don't you know or they're all like that don't you know.

I wonder how many collectors will return it if it means losing $150 in shipping costs...and much more than that if you live outside of the US.

I've seen quite a few people on the fb pages saying they cancelled their ex order

I'd say five or six over the last several weeks. I agree, just wait for the inevitable delay and then cancel and get it back.
Ignore the fact that people are cancelling a couple months after a very difficult preorder

Probably because people didn't really really want it and got caught in the hype. Also with there being 4250 of them. (750 ex and 3500 collector) that may also bother some people. Then there is the cost to. Prices are getting silly now.

Will sell out, then come back, sell out, come back.. for a few years. Same happened with the Spiderman PF, Wonderwoman PF, Batman PF, and I guess anything else with a high ES. They come out in waves.

Still excited for this. I have this and the Prime1 Darkseid on order ...plan to do a little DC vs marvel badass villain display. :)
