The SS clothing and proportions look better than any of the third party stuff. Sculpt is debatable I guess but the production of it looks cleaner. Something about the third party stuff just looks janky.

yes i am surprised with all the praises on the present toys the sideshow just shouts Blondie from far away.

I keep looking at pics, and it does seem Present Toys has the better sculpt. Anyone have them both think the same? I wanted to buy the Sideshow but very hesitant now.

Present toys has the better sculpt but almost everything else is better on SS’s. I’m still debating whether I want to try and customize the PT version or just call it good with SS’s.

That Face looks like garbage! They whole figure is poo...the artist got the eyes too far apart.

Hi, I know to each their own. I am looking at both the Sideshow and Present Toys. I keep seeing the Present Toys one looking better.
I am wondering if my eyes are deceiving me because in person things do look different.

I am trying to see where I can place my money. One is 200 and the other is 300.

Upon inspection, the SS has the better clothes, but it does look like PT has the better heads. The eyes being wide is interesting though...hmmm...

I am thinking the same. It's if I buy the SS, then I need the PT head. But then if I get the heads thats probably another 50-70 bucks. A lot for any 1 figure.

Looking at paying near 400 for the SS if I get the PT parts.

I’ll take a side by side as soon as I can but the size difference between PT’s and SS’s is gonna make it difficult to mix and match. Aside from one being a solid neck and one not I don’t think you can just use the PT sculpt on the SS set up and it not have a bit of a pin head look.

Yes, you’re right. That’s exactly what that is. I knew that looked too funky to be a regular axe handle. Good catch! It makes perfect sense too since the town serves a mining community.

The head sculpt on PT is definitely more accurate, but SS is better in almost every other regard.

Most of the time the lighting in my detolf shades the finer details anyway.

Yup. As much as I don't like the sculpt, the SS is still the far better figure to get if you're a fan of the character.

The Sideshow Blondie looks too much like my neighbor. My neighbor doesn't really look like Clint. The Present Toys sculpts evoke Clint more than the Sideshow sculpt does.

So, I will display the Present Toys with the poncho which goes a long way toward covering up the terribleness you mention.
