Hello all,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I changed my user name as recomended by Dave the other night in the Chat room. Hopefully this will stop the multiplying problem I was having in there. Did notice that I now have a ranking under my name so hopefully it worked!

Tolkien - Birmingham
thanks for the bump, I didn't read much of this when I was away for the first half of March.
@big al: my bf is a Brummie and speaking of Tolkien......... it's a shame what Birmingham is NOT doing to promote the man's popularity. We went to see where he lived with his family for many years and they had only torn down the place 4-5 years ago and built -hold on to this- a car parking area for the tenants around there. Nothing whatsoever reminds of Tolkien. We only got to know this by asking one of the older people that live there. In fact, the only place they uphold is Sarehole Mill, which is closed around Xmas like 99% of all other sightseeing places, the only time we visit the area. :bang

I've been lurking here for the last couple of months, and this is a great site. I love the LOTR statues and 12" figures and I got a lot on pre-order. I wish I got off the fence earlier regarding the statues; I missed out on some great pieces but now they're way to expensive. I'm from Sacramento CA.
