Thats kinda scary when you buy items that costs in the hundreds and you get a cheap ass piss poor paint job that cracks after a certain amount of time..

I'm concerned, as I plan on buying your upcoming 1/1 Hulk Bust sculpted by Andy B.That Bust will probably be costing around 1K and if I get a caca paint job that doesnt hold over time I will be extra pissed.I am in Canada, so sending it back (wich means i'll have to pay for the shipping wich will probably be around $300), is out of question.

Can you assure us that the paint wont be flaking on future production pieces ?

Just for the record, in case Sideshow has no idea what are the problematic pieces...

1:1 Iron Man bust
1:1 Angel of Death Hellboy II bust
Sabretooth LSB bust
Darkness LSB bust
Predalien Maquette
Planet Hulk vs Silver Savage Dio
Alien Queen Diorama
Venom LSB bust

Do something Sideshow.

My Angel of Death bust arived flakey...:monkey2 I wouldn't
have cared if I only payed $20 for it, as that's all it was worth
in that condition.
Personally I think that Sideshow should have some kind of guarante on
all their products and not just a yellow QC sticker as that doesn't
mean S^^T to me anymore.
Any obviouse flaws eg:- flaking should be returned to Sideshow
at their expense as it clearly isn't the customers fault.

The paint is flaking off of the nameplate for my venom lsb :( Which is super lame cause ive never even touched it since opening.

"Collect For life" ..... or until the paint starts flaking ... :monkey1

I noticed the paint on one of the horns of my darkness bust is starting to crack. :(

This is horrible. I've put so much money into these products in the last year and it looks like I picked the worst year to do it as far as SS products go.

Less money and resources for overly celebrated web events like Spooktacular and more money and resources for QC. :lecture

Now we have to worry about recast fakes on the market and paint flaking. If both are subject to quality issues, how are we to tell the difference?

The fakes don't flake.

(I kid, I kid although something should be done about the flaking....Sideshow QC has been declining over the years....)

Please keep in mind that all of our items are hand created, assembled, painted, the clothing custom stitched, with the item hand dressed and boxed. It is nearly impossible to make every piece identical in a process such as this. Even though every item is almost the same, there may be some small details that are specific to your item and make it uniquely yours.

I have nt bought any busts or statues from you for years but im going all-out to raise the funds for the 1/2 Iron Man.But I do nt want to lay out that much coin for something thats effectively ruined a short time after i ve bought it.You need to get on top of this problem double quick!!

Yea I would be very worried about that piece.

I am. Iron Man products from SSC already have a spotty track record in terms of damages and scratches I can only imagine when you get to something of that size

Funny... the paint is flaking off the nameplate for my Symbiote Spidey 1:1 bust. :(
