Did they offer the Palpatine two pack as individual figures? I'm leaning toward Luke and Han counting as one. Mike's theory of seperately and the bundle makes sense, but I have a hard time seeing people just want one or the other.

I don't think this is very likely, but just to float it out there...if one or two of the items they are offering are big, could Sideshow maybe ship them out for attendees as well as non-attendees?

No Indy exclusive? :monkey2 That really does suck. So Indy fans got the shaft at Toy Fair and now we are getting the shaft again for SDCC. Thanks.

How are Indy fans getting the shaft? We've had two items announced in consecutive months and haven't seen the ACTUAL products announced at the show.

I'm speaking from the standpoint of the lack of attention being given to what I consider a major license at undoubtedly the two biggest collectibles shows. If you want to draw attention to your products to the largest audience possible, Toy Fair and SDCC are it. I'm disappointed that Indy wasn't featured at Toy Fair and I'm disappointed that no Indy exclusives will be offered at SDCC, especially when Sideshow's other major licenses are.

No doubt that KOTCS Indy PF will be displayed. But whether or not there will be more unveiled remains to be seen. That's all I'm saying. I'm speak this way, not because I desire to say bad things about Sideshow, but because I'm passionate about Indy collectibles and I want to see the license get its fair share of exposure. It's long overdue.

I don't worry about EX at SDCC meaning anything. LOTR has one for the first time since 2005. I'll worry if there are no brand new items shown.

I will say that there has been alot less with the Indy license than I would have epxected. And not just with Sideshow, Gentle Giant isn't doing much with Indy either.

I don't want to be a downer, but the sales haven't really proven Indy's popularity at a higher level... we experienced many cancellations from retail stores for the regular edition RotLA Indy (both 12-inch and PF), and they are both still available on our site and through all our retailers. We got a TON of exposure for those items as well, so that wasn't the problem - picked in many 'best of 2008' lists, debuted at Toy Fair 2008, displayed at Comic-Con 2008, cover spots on ToyFare and other magazines, carried by many retail shops, etc. Plus, we've got Belloq's, and most of the Medicom Toy RAH figures still available on our site and through our retailers as well. (I can't speak for other company's but perhaps this has affected the Indy items from other outlets as well?)

Please understand that I am just making these observations AS A FAN, not as an employee - I really have no idea what the master plans are for Sideshow's Indy license, just observing the trends in the market and the perceived *popularity* of the license. Us Indy fans may need to adjust our perception of popularity when the most popular version of the main character doesn't sell as well as hoped for. BUT, on the bright side, we have some cool stuff to offer new collectors (as usually all the cool stuff is long sold out)!

I DO know that there are definitely other Indy characters in the works (at least at the development stage right now) and we are NOT abandoning the license! :duff

That pretty much says it all. This line will go the way of LOTR.

Seven exclusives this year? Ok, why not. As long as EVERYONE gets a fair chance at EVERYTING. That's my only concern.

Nothing to be concerned about - just as in years' past we will be offering both Attendee and Non-Attendee Priority Pre-Orders for all 7 items - the items and PPO schedules will be posted soon :duff
