The figure looks fantastic, but $80!!

I really like the figure, and I placed a pre-order for it, but I just don't know if I'm big enough a fan of Lara Croft to put down $80 for one.

Yeah, 2 outfits is the key. Of course, you really need a better body for the skimpier outfit and you'll need a second head sculpt.

But if you get a head and body off ebay, then you basically have 2 Lara Crofts ready to go.

Maybe that Dragon Jennifer would work with a repaint.

Just ordered this great looking figure.

Reminds me of the days, rushing home from work in 1996 to play Tomb Raider on the PS1. I would sit there and be in awe of the next gen graphics

Anyways, just realised that I had $30.00 in Sideshow points to redeem, so for me she is only $50.00 (sorry)

Actually this has got me pumped. I have avoided getting Tomb Raider "Anniversary" on the Xbox 360, I didn't want to lose the memories of the original, but after ordering this figure I am now downloading this from the marketplace.

If Sideshow only has the license to Tomb Raider : Legend that might explain why they don't or can't show any pics of her in the classic outfit

I have wondered if they just aren't ready to show the other outfit yet. I'm not sure if their license is the reason, because she wears the classic outfit in the Ghana level of Legend. Plus the classic outfit is unlockable in the game. If I remember the game right there was like 25 unlockable outfits.

They're probably just not ready to show it yet. That thing would fit pretty tight on her torso, and I guess it's not done yet... or just looks bad.

That, and the Buck body will look terrible mostly exposed. It might have scared some people away from PO.

That is my guess as well. Unless it's on a new body (and according to Dusty it's not) the other outfit isn't going to look so hot.

good point. i will not have her in that outfit because i can't stand seeing joints to that degree...i wish they would work with Hot Toys and use a non-exposed jointed body for figures that expose their arms, etc.

That new Triad female body looks great. I believe Les posted some pictures in the custom gallery.

Sooner or later we'll get a satisfactory female body. Got to get a second anyway for Lara, plus a head sculpt.

I love Trev's sculpt for this. Best of both world's I think. It would be nice to have the option to get a second head so we can used the second outfit on a second figure.

If SS only sold loose head sculpts....

Yeah, not bad, but I'm glad I've got an Otaku body coming. That tank top needs a bit more filling out, and the knees will look better. Plus it won't have that plastic shine.

Really, the jacket is the only piece that looks bad.

Thankfully, Lara isn't blue. I'll probably grab an Otaku also.
