This was actually a big surprise to me (next to the Hicks/Apone 2nd chances) and good to see! Hopefully she's on a new Female Prometheus body or something like that!

Very nice looking and it could be a modified body or new body. Not really interested in the property... but glad to see some stranger 1/6 figures. Very surprised that Sideshow would do a 1/6 of a Videogame character.

If she does well I wouldn't be surprised if they did more.....Warcraft for starters then the Lara PF.....most video games licenses gotta be more affordable than other mediums. If she does well I guarantee we get variations on her but what I'm hoping for is that with the new body they they'll do figures like Link, Samus, and other big ticket folk.

i think yu're roight aout the neck. Also, the pose lokos a bit more natural than the Female buck is capble of pulling off methinks.
















AND it would make sense that if it's a new female body, that she'd be totaly clothed in the preview shot, to hide the new body.

Could be. I really have no clue but it looks like a small gap there and it also look like the neck itself is tilted a bit. We probably won't know until it goes up for pre-order.

im all for a new SS female body. that solid neck really hinders head posebility IMO.

The 2 part neck won't look as good if she's got her standard scoopneck T-shirt on under that jacket. But I don't think it's a new body.

I'm happy about this one though - I hope she can accomplish a few different looks or there are more Lara's to come.

Well if its clothed up and still the old Buck, that is fine with me. The figure will be cheaper . I think Lara would look fine on the Buck body.....

I thought it was a two-part neck, too. But it just looks like it's the collar of her shirt. Still, she looks good from what I can tell.

I have less of a problem with the female bucks. Doesn't mean I don't want a new Female body.

You could use a Cy Girl body. Would be perfect for Lara.

I think you're right. The neck looks like its the standard Buck from the picture shown also would they premiere a new body with a 2nd tier license?

Adam seems to have a good relationship with SS, I'm wondering when they'll let him loose on other licenses than Marvel...

I need more a different non-photoshopped pic to make up my mine. And isn't Lara wearing a lot of clothes, especially compared to the PF?

What are the odds that we'll get more pics before next Thursday? Not really done outside of the 1st tiers licenses right???

I'm wondering how many will get her just to do this that really aren't diehard Lara Croft fans?

She'll do very well. At one point Lara was one of the most customized 12" figures out there. I sold a custom on ebay about a year ago for a couple hundred.
