So much for passing on this set, I just ran to alterego to place my order. I meant these are HT quality. Incredible.

Those pretty much kick ass! Cannot wait to get these guys for sure now and place them in my collection. The skin detail, paint, likeness, and clothing all appear to be pretty damn perfect.

Absolutely amazing!

I wouldn't be sure this being production paint... don't forget QQB usually repaints his figures. And this looks more like his technique... also I think the at least the Palps face would look darker in the first shot of he looked like this.

So my guess is first shots are production, close up is customized.

Thanks QQB. So it apparantly will come packaged as two seperate figs. That should make those of you who are splitting it with someone else happy. :rock

I think those are two sides of the same box.

And if any of these shots are repaints, QQB had better speak up, since the point of posting pictures early on is to get a sense of how the production figures will look.

These look fantastic. I was going to wait til after this rough first qtr but do any dealers have these for sale still?

Ooops. I think you are right. Weird to have no screen shots on a box.

Even if they are repaints (which I could be wrong :monkey1) at the very least you tell the sculpts came through very strong. And the outfits really look stellar... $120 well spent :rock

Too me the darker shading looks a lot like QQB's style, I remember when Anakin came out he had a repaint posted pretty soon afterwards.

Palpatine has that look of a "brown wash" but Sidious is much too light to have undergone that.....at least from the looks of it.

It's one box with a figure on each side. I'm pretty sure QQB did repaints on both, but his first pics show the production paint.
