oh my bad, but Pyramid head is done by another company. I hardly hear Gecco, how about the Nurses, are they sexy as hell?

He was asking about Pyramid Head. Pyramid Head is out. I have it. It looks great.

Toymunkey and Gecco are working together on this line (I believe Gecco makes the actual figures, while Toymunkey distributes them). Pyramid head, The Nurse, Heather are all part of the same line. The same team is working on them, so hopefully, I can expect the same level of production quality as Pyramid Head.

I don't have the Nurse yet, she's supposedly out in other regions, but for some reason she's taking forever to come out here in North America.

I picked up Silent Hill 3 from a local gameshop today. If I end up enjoying it I am going to preorder that Heather figure off AmiAmi (Japan gets these figures first right?). That figure is just so incredible that I have to get it.

Seems like Pyramid Head is sold out on AmiAmi. Is my only option Big Bad Toy Store now?

Hope you've finish the 1st game first. SH3 is a direct sequel to SH1.

Nope never played any SH games. I'll go back and play 1 and 2 after 3. I already preordered the Heather figure I couldn't resist :lol I'm not far into 3, but so far it's pretty damn amazing.

And quite spooky. I care easily so this is a treat for me.

If possible, try to play SH1 first, as (minor spoilers) many themes and places are revisited in SH3 and all the references will go right over your head.

Too late now. I played MGS3 first way back when too. I don't mind missing references or whatever. This game has been very enjoyable without outside knowledge so far so I'm not going to break the pacing just to go play the prequel.

It takes a big fan to cope with the PS1 graphics, & horror.

I tried to play SH1 during PS2 era just find it difficult. The game itself wasn't easy to begin with. I still think SH3 is the favourite.

It takes a big fan to cope with the amount of ****ty games with good graphics.

The first SH1 - even with it's dated graphics - still captures an incredible atmosphere that a majority of modern games still struggle with.

Abso****ingloutely.

The school still scares the ever loving **** out of me. The first time I played it in front of my girlfriend she literally screamed the first time one of the dark ghost children came out of the darkness.

I think it was the Courtyard where she screamed, when you walk down some steps to it and one of those ****ers came out of no where :lol

Silent Hill definitely set the bar in terms of inserting fear into gaming. The sound of the radio static is scary in it's own right. I might play SH1 later since my girlfriend has been pressuring me to playing it.

I've had her playing Fatal Frame II and she's scared to death playing it :lol

Sounds about right :lol

I used to get that fear, where I couldn't play the game because I was so tense and scared through the whole thing. I don't get that feeling with games much anymore. Maybe I'm a bit desensitized, but the first 3 SH's still give me that tense feeling. And the atmosphere is still stifling and intense. So I dunno. Must be a combination of desensitization and modern games not being up to snuff.

SH3 was made decades ago, still looks better than many Modern Games that brings GPU down to it's knees.

I have the PC version and playing it on 1080p is magnificent with the FOV hack. Do you know some of their sprites go up to 2048 pixels? Not sure what Team Silent were thinking back then.

It still has one of the best facial expressions. Note the game was made in an era where facial capture is too expensive to use.

Still looks better than the latest SH. Not sure what happened to the old team.
