GTA3 Guy review

Here's a link to my mediocre review. Hit mute and watch it in 1080P.

Hey DP. Thanks for the review and the double shout out. I'm glad the figure turned out well. I think that's the first official release of a figure I did the head paint for. Seems pretty good. The bat and shoes look just like the proto in the pics. Good job on China for that.

"Stabby McBlurface" :rotfl

I'm not sure how Tesio's displaying his, but the extra detail was requested.

"McBlurface" :lol

Not daytime sadly, I don't have the cash for the 2, I just want it so with his sleeves rolled up a bit and the opening on his shirt the paint matches :D. I am so very very excited for this piece, thank you again! :clap:clap

Thanks. yeah, Les was the man when I first started out customizing for other people. He was one of the guys I tired hard to live up to.

I hope next time I show McClane, I can figure out how to get my camera to represent him better. As good as that picture looks, it frustrates me that it doesn't look like what's in my hand.

Anyway, here's some more so-so photography of the enhancements I made on an Advanced TT for another headsculpt (in the "other" thread). I touched up the chest, forearms, and neck. Again, looks better in person, but you get the idea.

even through the blur you can tell that's an amazing likeness :lol I wish I could see your paint on that head.

Nathan...I can count the number of figures that will (truly) never leave my collection on one hand, and this is most definitely one of them. You've done a ____ing PHENOMENAL job on him!

Exceeded my expectations? Nay, obliterated them.

You sir, are amazing at what you do, and a pleasure to deal with as well. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I appreciate the passion and attention to detail you've put into this project. The end result says more than I ever could :bow

Can't stop staring...

The skin tone matching...the detail you packed into the tank top! I know I mentioned that the tank top was a road map of his battles, and was almost its own character, and you completely got it! :rock

Thanks, DP.

And thank you, Marf. I'm sorry it took since SDCC for me to get around to this project, and I appreciate your patience. I can tell by your reaction that the wait was worth it. For me, your reaction is worth the effort I've put into it. John McClane is a great character worthy of my full attention, and I'm glad you entrusted him to me. It was a pleasure to do, and now I hate to give it back to you. :gah:

I added a sculpted wound to this arm.

I can't take credit for the tattoo. It was on there when I got the figure. It's nicely done though.

These paintups look incredible Nathan, you're definitely "the excellence of execution" and that Mcclane you made is the best there is, was and ever will be! :bow
